    You either like Glenn Gould's playing of Bach or you do not ! I absolutely adore his style and playing however "eccentric" others may feel it to be.
    His interpretations make wonderful listening and I have been listening for many many years with great pleasure every time the music permeates my sitting room at home.
    Bach is a particular favourite and all my comments for his Bach CDs would be the same as this one. You may well have to put up with his humming along to thew melodies but I have grown used to this again over many listenings.
    I would recommend you try some of his Bach and see how you get on with it. His sound to my ears often sounds somewhere between and piano and a harpsichord.which coupled with his unique interpretation lends to the whole experience. For me, sheer delight !
