Customers like the functionality of the product. They mention it works well for cable management, though the adhesive leaves a little to be desired. The clips go on great and hold up well, though the plastic cord clips snapped.

Customers appreciate the cord hold. It securely holds extension cords and Christmas lights. The arm part of the product keeps the cord from getting loose. Customers have different views on the size of the picture hanger. Some find it suitable for small cords and power strips, with just enough room to hold a standard C7 power cord. Others mention that the openings are too small, making them too small for their needs.

Customers have mixed opinions about the clip design. Some find it well-designed and neat, making it easy to install. However, others mention that the clips are weak and detach easily. The clear plastic material looks great, but it's brittle and breaks off easily.

Customers have different views on the picture hangers' value for money. Some find them worth the cost to get a nice clean look and appreciate the good price on clear refill strips. They are great for renters because they can be removed easily when moving. Others say they are not worth the money, not durable, and don't work for an expensive product.
"...For the price, receiving just 8 clips for $8.99, breaking one is an expensive prospect...." Read more

Customers are unhappy with the stickiness of the picture hangers. They mention that the white strips stick more strongly than the clear ones, and the clear tape fasteners just don't hold well. The glue is a little hit or miss in terms of strength, and some fell off after a few weeks due to humidity. The sticky surface area is much too small to garner any kind of serious hold.

Customers are unhappy with the picture hanger's sturdiness. They mention it breaks easily, the plastic quickly weakens after repeated opening, and the arm that wraps over the cord isn't very durable. Some say around 50% of the clips broke when they attempted to remove the cat 6. The clear plastic clips are hard to see.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2013I have a few cables (video, Ethernet, etc.) draped around my house and used these cord clips to help hold them up. In the past, I used the white ones, but I was excited to see a clear version so it would look neater on my non-white walls. Here are some things I think are most important:
* SIZE: These can comfortably hold a Cat 5e Ethernet cable (the reason I originally got them), plus maybe another very small cable if you need to (3.5mm audio? never tried). It can also hold one Monoprice Cat 6 Ethernet cable but with no room to spare. I couldn't quite fit in my coax/RG6 cable in, but that will depend on the wire gauge. A thick DVI cable was also too big for these, but it does fit in the medium size.
* STICKINESS: The white strips do stick more strongly than the clear ones. I've only noticed this when trying to run cables around corners, which I've solved by loosening up my turn radius a bit--something I probably should be doing for the sake of the cable, anyway. I don't think this will really matter for cord clips because I can't imagine someone using them for anything heavy enough to matter in the first place. In either case, you'll probably also want to follow their preparation instructions, including cleaning the area with alcohol first and allowing it to try, as well as having some "rest" time after installation before use to allow the adhesive to work better.
* REMOVAL: I've changed my mind about where I want my cables and how I want them organized a few times. I've always had the clear strips remove without damage as long as I follow the instructions. Crucially, you need to pull the non-adhesived tab on the strip straight down--very far down. As it stretches, the adhesive holding the strip to both the hook and the wall will loosen (so hold the hook with your other hand to avoid projectile hook injuries). You *cannot* just pull the strip off the wall normally. That's the only time when I've damaged my paint, and it's only when I accidentally pulled the hook and strip off the wall during a cable-routing accident, and that was long enough ago that I can't even remember if it was a white or clear strip (I suspect the white ones are more likely to cause damage in this situation).
* PRICE: These are hard for me to find locally, but on similar Command products, Amazon always seems to have the best price. Amazon also has a good price on the clear refill strips, which I can't even find locally. The hooks themselves are reusable. The pack comes with a couple extra strips, but since I've done a lot of rearranging, I've had to buy more.
* OTHER: With both these and the white hooks, I've had the tab that the "arm" of the hook is supposed to latch into break off. This prevents the hook from working as intended, but with larger cables the "arm" still holds the cable in enough that I can barely even notice. I've had this happen on a few hooks (total--I've gone through several packs of these) and can probably blame at least a couple of those on me pulling too hard trying to put too much in the hook.
In general, I think these clips work well and are priced reasonably. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to organize cords or cables without doing anything permanent or wall-damaging. Just be sure to follow the removal instructions if the non-damaging part of this product is important to you (it is to me--it's why I bought them).
- Reviewed in the United States on February 24, 2014I bought these to help me with my constant battle to manage the cables behind my desk & entertainment center.
These work very well. As described, they are small. They won't handle the average computer power cord, or a quality HDMI cable. They do work awesome for ethernet or mouse/keyboard sized cables (assuming you're not wireless).
These do open and close easily, so I am able to add/remove cables when I need.
The clips are clear plastic & hard to see. They are not invisible & the tape on the bottom is white, so from the top-down, you'll see a white square of tape.
These worked really well for me to put on the back of the legs of desks and such, so I could run cables hidden from view, yet relatively easy to manage.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2020These clips are a great product. I used them to suspend one hundred feet of cat 6 cable in an apartment because the internet hookup was in a terrible location. I bought four packs of these clips. They all held to the wall for one year while supporting the cable. The only complaint I had is that around 50% of the clips broke when i attempted to remove the cat 6. The arm that locks in the cable can certainly get stuck with time. I do not see this as a large issue so the product still gets 5 stars from me. I would suggest making the clips deeper so any cabling does not obstruct the locking arm. I plan to buy these again if the need arises nonetheless.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2017Overall, these seem to work fairly well. My current landlord is quite picky about holes in the wall, so I needed to look for a solution other than the typical ethernet cable hooks which nail to the wall. And given that restriction, I think that these have worked reasonably well. Out of the few dozen I've put up, one didn't stick properly and came off (taking paint with it) when I went to hook the cable to it, but other than that, they've stuck well without damaging the wall. And since I needed to move the cable at one point, I've also taken a few off the wall, and I had no problems in doing so; no paint came off, and you can't tell that anything was stuck to the wall before. So, if you can't put holes in your wall, these seem to work well.
However, given that you have to stick each hook to the wall and wait an hour before you can use it, it's _way_ more of a pain to use these hooks than the normal ones that use nails. Normally, you can hang the cable as you go and adjust as you go along, but with these hooks, you have to plan it all out and guess correctly how the cable will hang. Obviously, you can add some hooks later, and you can remove hooks to put them somewhere else if you need to adjust the cable, but overall, they're just way more of a pain. They _do_ avoid needing to put holes in the wall, but IMHO, that's their only advantage.
So, if you can use the more standard hooks that you nail to the wall, I'd stick to the those over using these. But if you can't put holes in the wall for whatever reason, then these are the best alternative that I'm aware of.
