Big D Pheno D is an EPA registered hospital antimicrobial agent and two-way deodorizer for use on pre-cleaned hard, nonporous surfaces including toilets, urinals, bathtubs, shower stalls, seats, benches, lockers, partitions, counters, fixtures, knobs, handles, railings, telephones, furniture, equipment and other surfaces which could harbor hazardous microorganisms. PHENO D fogger kills harmful viruses, bacteria, fungi, mold and mildew, while sanitizing and deodorizing.

For Use On: Most glass, glazed porcelain, glazed ceramic, enameled, painted, plastic (such as ABS, acrylic, latex rubber, phenolic resin, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyester, polyethylene, polyolefin, polypropylene, polystyrene, polytetrafluorethylene, polyurethane, and vinyl), rubber, metal, sealed leather, finished wood, sealed grout, and sealed concrete, and similar nonporous surfaces.

Virucidal

Kills Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1; a retrovirus that causes AIDS [Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome]), Herpes Simplex Types 1 and 2, Avian Influenza A Virus (H5N1), Pandemic 2009 H1N1 Influenza A Virus, Influenza A2/Hong Kong, Adenovirus Type 5, Vaccinia, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Canine Distemper and Feline Pneumonitis. Follow instructions for disinfection.

Bactericidal / Tuberculocidal

Kills Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enterica, Salmonella schottmuelleri (paratyphoid B), Shigella dysenteriae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Kills Mycobacterium tuberculosis bovis BCG (Tubercle bacilli). Follow instructions for disinfection.

Fungicidal / Controls Mold & Mildew

Kills Trichophyton mentagrophytes ('athlete’s foot' fungi; formerly known as T. interdigitale) in bathrooms, shower areas, and locker rooms. Follow instructions for disinfection.

Completely inhibits the growth of Aspergillus niger and Penicillium glaucum fungi on fabric.

Sanitizes / Deodorizes

The spray top looks similar to a bug fogger, except you can push it down partially for short spray bursts, or down all the way to act as a whole room fogger. This has a sweet citrus scent (the scent is not as strong and overpowering as Lysol scent). This is great for decontaminating entire rooms and car interiors. I received the newer design cans with the orange labels. It's also nice that this is made in the USA. Here's a photo of the spray can.

    I liked the reviews but this product out did them all! The house was rid of all the mold and other odors, and have not come back yet (over a month!).     I've used another product called Mold Bomb that is much more expensive, doesn't smell as good, but absolutely eliminates musty/mold smells from an area in our home. I bought this product because it was lower cost and the reviews are good. But all it does is cover up the smell. As soon as the fragrance wears off, the musty smell is still there. If you want a fancy room fragrance, then this is the product for you. But if you actually want something to kill mold/mildew then I suggest you buy something else. Also, the spray comes out as a "wet spray" and not as a fog. So it does not go very far or penetrate.

    I've used this product in the past. It has worked better than other products I've tried to eliminate odors. I have found that a few of the cans do not discharge totally, leaving some unused product still in the can. These are fairly expensive and I really hated to see it wasted that way. The one thing I have done is use more of them than is stated.
    I have not seen adverse effect from using more cans per square foot of room, and I do feel that it does a better job by sort of 'over doing it'. We have rentals and I want them to be as clean and fresh as possible for new tenants so I've used them a number of times and would recommend this product.

    Buyer Beware! Pay extra special care to product description as this was not the fogger style that I had purchased before. This product is in traditional spray cans which makes it fundamentally useless for my needs. Due to the nature of the product and shipping regulations, it can not be returned!! I'm sure the spray works as advertised but the delivery means is not what I had expected based on previous purchase!!!

    Made the rooms smell fresh. Make sure you put something underneath (I put a 5'x5' 6 mill plastic sheet" while doing our beachhouse. just wrap them up and throw them out. Otherwise you get drippings and liquid and it can be concentrated. We had a roof leak and after everything was repaired it still had a mold smell. These knocked that out and its been a few weeks and it has not returned. You can also use the "spray" function to hit small areas...just be sure not to press to hard. If you do it stays in full mode. Dont panic just pop the top off, pull the tab up and start over. Thge short bursts worked incredibly well in car AC vents. This was the only thing I found that took the dirty sock smell out.
