The music is just as expected.On the other hand, the box of the CD was broken. It is a very small issue, but come on. Put the goods into a better box next time!

    I find it hard to believe that no one has bothered to review this reissue on Amazon yet. Over the last few years I've discovered that Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs has been doing the most consistent Hi quality reissues on SACD than any other label. The titles are all two channel stereo because most audiophiles believe that multichannel,(Surround Sound), is a joke as well as I. Stevie Ray Vaughan's album Soul to soul features the wonderful song "Change It," as well as a host of other well known hits. I've compared the SACD to CD and the SACD sounds much more natural without being forced and forward which was the problem with the sound many but not all CD's to begin with.

    However, This recording is not in the same league as Roxy Music -Avalon or Patricia Barber - Cafe Blue SACD. Those recording are the best I've heard sonically to date. But for any fans of SRV this and all his other MoFi reissues are definitely worth getting a hold of. The only format that will probably beat the pants off this series are the 45rpm 180 gram vinyl reissues that Analogue Productions is expected to release later this year and at $50.00 a pop not as affordable either.

    I have an original version of this album, and purchased this one for hopefully less surface noise. While there is a little surface nose, I believe it's one of the best modern pressings I have heard.
    It's actually on an epic label, I am not sure or that works but other SRV albums on legacy labels sound terrible by comparison
