This is the first time giving our trumpet a good cleaning, and I would say with any kit you need to make sure not to scratch the trumpet with the metal parts. Just be careful. I think this kit would last a good long time for many cleanings.

    I suppose this has all the pieces you need to clean the trumpet. But my daughter, being a beginner, has no idea what to do with these (nor do I). It came with a card describing which pieces were included. However, no instructions at all on how to use each piece. So this means we have to spend time looking it up somewhere. A simple instruction card/sheet would have been nice. That being said, the brushes look well made, and it looks like you do get everything you need to keep the instrument clean.
