    As a new cigar smoker. I really needed a way to score and track what I liked and disliked about a cigar. This book has it all. I’ve used it for 5 different sticks and have found new things I like about this book each time. I love the ranking system and flavor profiling diagram. Things I didn’t notice or think I needed: 1. ruler on the cover - I love this because I don’t always know the length when I purchase in the store. 2. The gauge rings in the front cover - didn’t think I’d use this but I’ve used it several times! 3. The star ratings, I didn’t think I’d need this because of all the other options for journaling but I’ve used and referred back to it several times. I just love this book. Size is perfect. One thing I WISH it had was more pages. 33 cigars will fly by but then the name wouldn’t fit.... so I guess I just need a 3 pack option or bulk pricing lol

    nice little booklet. great pocket size and nice layout for entering your cigar information. the only downfall is that it is slightly taller than a standard field notes booklet. (5.75 instead of standard 5.5) i had to trim the top and bottom of the back cover in order to insert this into my leather field notes cover. overall great product just wish it was standard field notes size. but i cant deduct any stars as it was my fault for missing that information in the description and once modified it fits in just fine.

Being a newer cigar smoker, I also really appreciate the glossary on the inside cover ("Ring Gauge", "Anatomy of a Cigar", "Flavor Wheel").     Great lil log book to start with. It's small... Think large pack of cards, so that makes it challenging to write in sometimes but it fits perfectly in a pocket which makes it easy to take with you on your cigar journeys. The cigar ring gauge in the front isn't accurate, and the location to put your cigar band is on the same spot on every page (so you end up with a bulge in the middle when you're done) but otherwise it's a decent log book.
