File manager shows you your files. All of them. The Android 4.4.4 has a complex filing system. This app shows all the directories. It allows you to set your "home directory" so you know exactly where you are when you open the app. The best part is every app that let's you select a file goes through this app. If you know enough about computers to look at the file system this app makes it real easy. I have an email client that let's me select a "new mail ringtone". Without this app I would be stuck with the "system ringtones". With this app I can choose any mp3 that I know the location of. Simple, easy and comprehensive. Just put it on my Galaxy J7 and everything you can pick a ringtone for its right there with my media folder.
FITBIT FLEX: I HAVE YET TO GET THIS TO WORK...the directions are difficult for a person that has not grown up with computers or is a techie and I would return it to the store if it hadn't been a Christmas gift from my daughter! The wrist band is also difficult to attach and could be a hassle if I need to take it off and put it on each time I want a reading. A few more attempts to figure it out and if too time-consuming it will be returned!!
Works great on my old HTC DROID Eris and my current HTC Incredible 2...
Can copy/cut/paste one, multiple, or all files/folders and paste them wherever you want (that doesn't require root access at least)... Has built in picture viewer that's actually pretty cool with its simple interface. Too bad it opens jpg files in the default Android viewer, but if I open a gif it opens the built in viewer. Also can open music and video files from within the app, so I think they are also built in.
Probably the only thing I wish it would do is have an "Open With..." option since I have multiple apps for certain files.
Can also share files using the Android sharing system (email, bluetooth, etc)...
Finally. I bought a SD card for my kindle (Thank you Amazon for finally making that possible!) The problem without this is getting to your stuff on the SD card. I would get everything all organized (especially music) into groups and then go to the kindle. Everything is jumbled into one under my music. I have music I copied from my CD's I have meditation CD's I copied and don't want them mixed together! Duh. With this I go to the SD card file and there everything is all nice and neat and in the order I made. Downside that I have found a fix for yet is I can't just play music from it. It is one song at a time. Hmm. It would seem I have to download them which brings be back to the same issue. Yes, music can be put into 'books' and organized but when you are talking about thousands of files who wants to do that. Unless there is something I don't know, that is the one star down. Upside, Oh thank you for helping to organize my files and have a go to place to get to them!
It's better than ES File Explorer, which lost half its free functionality in a recent update. I enjoy how light and simple this app is, but it's lacking some necessary features. In particular, its capability to cut, paste, move and create files and folders is buggy. If this could be fixed, I would be glad to continue using it, but since it cannot fulfill my needs as is, I am going to try something else instead.
I've been using this app for a long while now on a kindle tablet, a rooted android, and other android phones and I am very impressed. This app has so many features that I use everyday that other apps don't have. Especially in the networking area, this app excels! The only problem I have ever had with this app was on my kindle after about a year it would stop work and ask to download the app again from the suppose, however that happened with other apps on my kindle and I think the whole problem is with that and has nothing to do with this actual app itself. I also suggested this app to a friend and they were just as impressed as I was...
The name of this app is a little misleading. It has the ability to gather files from my file server as well as from Google Drive (as well as others, but these are the two that I use most often). Before this app I e-mailed documents between devices but now I don't have to. Instead I just either access the file directly or can easily copy it to my kindle.
Of course, it also does file management. So I am able to clean up documents I had e-mailed to myself before and actually get a good view of what files do exist on my device.

At least this company appears to be based within the United States.
Works well, easy to use, no annoying ads. I tried several other file managers and this is, by far, the most user friendly. I appreciated the lack of annoying ads popping up all over the place and interfering with getting things done.
Se encuentran y gestionan con facilidad los archivos, y no hay complicaciones derivadas del excesivo afán de ofrecer funciones que tienen otras aplicaciones, que al final te complican la vida
