- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2012Since I received my newest pellet rifle, a (brand new from Amazon) Benjamin Marauder .25-Caliber Rifle, I've tried out a bunch of different types of pellets, virtually all of the better brands...and when push comes to shove, and I am pressed for an answer to the question: "What is the best pellet for the .25-Cal Marauder rifle?" I cannot fail to answer affirmatively: "The Benjamin 25-Caliber Domed 27.8-grain pellet is the creme of the crop for general shooting needs." That isn't to say that the company brand is the only one out there for performance par excellence with these fantastic shooting PCP (Pre-Charged-Pneumatic) rifles and pistols, but for a smooth, sure and steady flight to the target the .25-Caliber Benjamin Domed 27.8-grain pellet will do the job right as rain.
I have shot as many as 24 consecutive center-Bulls Eyes into either a Crosman or Gamo target @ 40-60 meters distance at my gun club, over and over again, with this particular pellet in the chamber. That's all my 8-shot clips (3X8=24) scoring maximum points. It just amazes me how consistent and sure you feel aiming and firing the 25-Caliber Benjamin Domed 27.8-grain pellet, I mean it is the best feeling I know in shooting to have!
Equally awesome (in a more destructive impact sequence) is the Benjamin 25-Caliber Destroyer 27.8-grain pellet, but again, I still favor the Domed pellet for consistency, accuracy, and easy targeting, even setting up a new scope. It's my particular technique to use a high-quality pellet like these for breaking in a new rifle, and/or setting up a new scope, because since they are so consistent and sure with delivery of their action to the target, you can bet your bottom $$$'s that you will make short work of your assignment.
They look consistently made; they feel exactly weighted correctly every time when you're loading up for a shoot; in short, when performance is what you need and the only thing you are looking for is a good, same-way-always piece of lead shot in the chamber, here's my recommendation: The Benjamin 25-Caliber Domed 27.8-grain pellet over all others.
Five stars all the way, no doubt about it!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2018I purchased these because my usual pellets were out of stock when I ran out. I was a little worried that the weight would affect accuracy and distance. I was also worried the adjustment on my scope was going to be time consuming switching to a new pellet. When I opened the box, the pellets were much larger than my previous pellets. The pellets looked very uniformed with no burs or apparent defects. To my surprise, the pellets shot higher at 25 yards than my previous lighter ones. I cranked the elevation down and the pellets responded in kind. These pellets are very accurate. The extra weight gives them great knockdown power. I am way more pleased with these pellets than my previous ones. Overall, this is a great pellet that performs better than I had hoped.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2024These are absolute the most accurate pellets for my Airforce condor .25 caliber. 2500 psi fill and power setting on 4. Amazon really needs to upgrade their packaging for pellet tin shipping. I have ordered many different brand name pallets and almost all of them have arrived with dented tins and/or squished pellets. Another reason I use these Benjamin's now is they are harder than other pellets I have ordered, and with them being so hard, they don't get squished during shipping like the other soft pellets do. Benjamin pellets are A win win for me 1. they are accurate 2. they are hard and don't get squished during shipment 3. they are cheaper than other pellets so far.

Images in this review - Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2023I like these pellets, they shoot tight groups out of my Hatsan Bullboss and Flashpup. .5in groups or touching at 40-50yrds. They shoot just as well as JSB and H&N, but are reasonably priced. These are my go to pellet for plinking n hunting.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2022I was extremely impressed with the groups I was able to get using these pellets! For the price I was not expecting much and I just wanted something to use to test a 25 cal to see if I would like it. After shooting groups under 5/8” at 35 yards I discovered they shot just as good as the JSB pellets I bought! I shot them with an FX Impact MKII and my Leshiy 2, and both guns grouped about as well as I can shoot. These can be had for a fraction of the cost of JSB’s and they don’t shoot or look like the cheap pellets that all have damaged skirts and you can tell just by looking at them that consistency is lacking. These were nicely packaged and the skirts were all in good shape. I recommend these to anyone who is looking for high quality pellets that doesn’t want to spend 3 times more than necessary in order to get tight groups!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2022These work very well in my highly modded Hatsan Bt65 Elite. They come up short against Exacts though but not by much. These hit really hard with a big heavy head and thin skirt for a good air seal. Not sure if these are Crosman Premiers or not as they do look like them. If your gun is finicky you should try them plus they are cheaper than most others as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2018I have a Kral Puncher Breaker .25 cal and these pellets are very accurate in this airgun. I purchased 4 tins and inspected them carefully. While I did find a very small amount of lead flakes in the tins, I didn't find any clearly deformed pellets in the entire lot of 800. They are consistent and work well in my magazine and I think this is in part because of their traditional diabolo shape. My favorite pellet in this airgun is the H&N Grizzly but, they are a guaranteed magazine jam due to their conical shape. They are perfect in single loading. I would put these on par with the Grizzly and they cycle flawlessly in my magazine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some pretty hard lead
Bought this for a homemade airgun. The diameter measured with my micrometer is 0.251" at the base and 0.248" at the shoulders. Some pretty hard lead, did not wanted to be swaged down.
