Before taking DLPA, my life was miserable with miserable with chronic fatigue syndrome. Few things made any difference. About the only thing that helped was Ritalin and it wasn't the best. Now that I am taking Dl-Phenylalanine (also known as DLPA), my days are much better. I've been working hard to fine tune it. Here are the results.
I've been taking DLPA from various companies for several months. The results have been fabulous. It helps me stay focused, more energy and happier throughout the day. The Swanson 500 mg seems to work as well for me as more expensive brands and even as well as one that says it has 1000mg. I set my first alarm early and take one about 6am then try to go back to sleep until my second alarm at 7am and time to get up. I feel much more refreshed getting up with Dl-Phenylalanine. Later, at noon, I start to drag a lot. I try to take a brief 15 nap at lunch time followed by another Dl-Phenylalanine. If I can't get a noon nap for whatever reason, my nest choice is take 2 DLPAs at noon. It keeps me up at night if I take it after 3pm.
