I purchased these for use with disaster cleanup where contaminated water and biological hazards were present.

    Pros:
-VERY tough. I never once questioned the gloves' ability to protect my hands, no matter what I was handling.
-I personally love the bright colors. I never lost track of them, and the bright color also makes it easy to tell when the glove is clean.
-Very easy to clean. I threw them in the washer and they always came out fresh (make sure you air dry them and also sanitize them beforehand, depending on what you used them for).
-Separate liner inside did a good job of keeping my hands dry from outside water.
-Palms do not wear off even after heavy use. It's basically like Rhino Skin liners (for trucks) but just on your hand, it's great.

    Cons:
-Hands did get sweaty inside, but I can't hold that against the glove- they need to block moisture coming in, so that comes at a cost of also not allowing much moisture wicking to occur.
-Rubber sections of the plastic can stay stained even after brushing. It seems they do absorb some things like oils or liquids, which can discolor them slightly (but it's not very distracting).

For what I needed it to do, it was perfect. I still use them regularly and they come through every time. The higher price tag is definitely worth it, it's a "one and done" solution for gloves instead of having multiple pairs that do similar things.

Excellent price and great brand name. Recently ran an extrication job with them and they handled very nicely. A new pair of these definitely requires a break-in period. Very little movement when they are new.

They do the job. Just a bit thick.

These gloves are very think so as to affect dexterity. They feel very safe from the threat of sharp or pointy edges. If they are used for vehicle extrication, they will last a long time based on their build. The sizing is accurate. I am a large and they fit well.

I use these gloves more than I would like to but being a fireman in Detroit, I felt the best gloves were necessary. Everything about these are great. The bio protection keeps blood from getting through, the cuff keeps glass from getting in the glove and when they say crush and cut proof.... they mean it.... these gloves have protected me from getting my hand crushed in a door and they protected my hand from getting cut on jagged car metal. On top of all of that, I kept my dexterity when using the jaws!!!

Warm... yes, durable and comfortable.. absolutely, waterproof...nope. Even in light rain these get pretty soaked inside. Once you're hands are wet they get cold and don't like to move a lot, And working on the side of a highway with an accident and cold wet hands are not good.

Nice gloves, good fit. Can’t go wrong with Ringers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing glove, but don't buy on Amazon.
Reviewed in Canada on January 9, 2016
I have the previous version of this glove. I assume the new gloves gives a bit more range of motion and not such a tight feel when trying to grip.
These are amazing gloves and there is really nothing else on the market like them, they are tough and will feel that way until you wear them in a considerable amount. If you work fire/rescue/ems/police these are definitely something you want to have for some scenarios. You don't use them everyday as a paramedic but when you get called to assist outside in the winter and need some solid gloves on scene these are so nice to have.
My suggestion is to buy them from a different site for a better price/fit (read the fit guide, it makes a difference!) and when you do purchase them take them out and use them for everyday stuff to try to break them in a bit because they are built to last but that means considerable break in time.
