Versatile Protection for All Electronics with an Extra-Long Cord
The TLP712B offers economical surge protection for PCs, peripheral devices and all electronics. It provides seven 5-15R outlets, including one that can accommodate a bulky transformer without blocking the others. An extra-long, 12 feet cord with standard 5-15P plug enables connection to a distant wall outlet, and two keyhole slots on the rear of the housing enable the TLP712B to be mounted on a wall. It features a 1080-joule surge suppression rating.

Powerful AC Line Surge Suppression and Improved Component Performance
The TLP712B provides 1080 joules of surge suppression to prevent surges from damaging your valuable electronics. Includes full normal mode (H-N) and common mode (N-G/H-G) line surge suppression.
Various electromagnetic and radio sources can cause disruptive interference on the AC line. This line noise is a common cause of incremental hardware damage, data corruption and performance problems. The TLP712B incorporates technology that filters out disruptive line noise, preventing it from affecting your equipment, and helping to ensure peak performance.

Tripp Lite 7 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip 12ft Cord 1080 Joules LED & $25K INSURANCE (TLP712B)After 16 months of use, this guy still works perfectly. No qualms from me. It is a little heavier than expected, whereas some would find that as a plus (because that indicates that it was competently assembled with good materials), if you're trying to place it on the side of something, such as desk, you're gonna need something that holds well (or maybe I'm stupid and the reason that it's so heavy is that I'm using all 7 outlets, but whatever).
