I bought this product as well as the Resto-A-Finish and the Feed and Wax to refinish my custom made hickory kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers. They were installed in 2000 and I have used wood oils on them over the years but, they really needed som TLC. I am amazed and so pleased with these Howard products. The Clean-A-Finish Wood soap removed stains and even sticky stuff, by just applying and wiping with a minimum of pressure. In fact, in some cases it worked better and instantly than steel wool! Others have commented that my kitchen cabinets look new now.

So great for my antique furniture.
I had a family heirloom China hutch that was passed down to me through a household of a SUPER heavy smoker. The smell of old, stale cigarette smoke always bothered my husband, but I was really scared to try to clean the piece for fear of damaging it. Using this gave me the confidence to try. I had to find a balance between using some soap & water to get the initial layer of grime (with not too much scrubbing or it started to affect the finish) and following up with this product to get a really good clean.I DEFINITELY recommend ending with a treatment of Howard Feed N Wax. It really restores the shine, nourishes the wood, and protects the finish. Now my beloved heirloom is more beautiful than I've ever seen it! The picture really doesn't do it justice.(The rag is just one of many for an example of what it helped pull off this piece of furniture.)

I used 3 of the Howard Products, the wood soap, the restor-a-finish in cherry, and Feed-N-Wax (links below) to revive my kitchen cabinets and to restore a very old piece of furniture. My cabinets were already in good shape but the products made them look like new. And the sofa table console turned out beautiful, if fact it has never looked better.
I followed the instructions on the labels and made sure to wait the proper amount of time and to use clean cloths between each step; and to fully wipe down everything with a clean cloth as the final step. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend these products!
