I'm a professional groomer that works out of my house and I use Furminator products for my desheds. Product is key when I don't have all the commercial salon equipment. The smell is wonderful. When using this for desheds, I have found that letting it sit 5 minutes or so and brushing while the shampoo sits helps a ton. Following up with the Furminator conditioner and a Zoom Groom and Furminator Brush is a good finishing touch. Having my clients on coconut oil in their diets and a good grain free diet has helped a ton too! This product and the other pieces help finish the puzzle.

    As you can see by the title of my review I have four dogs. They are like my children now that my own children have moved on. So, just like my own children, they deserve only the best. My husband and I tried this product a couple of years ago and have never gone back to the shampoo we previously used. This shampoo leaves their coat soft, smooth, and shiny.     We ordered this product thru 'Oh My Dog Supplies' because their price was the cheapest. Having never done business with this company before, I was a little nervous. I can not say enough good things about this company. They were wonderful. I got exactly what I ordered, it was delivered exactly when I was told it would be delivered. When I received my order the cap had gotten damaged during shipping and this company replaced it with a pump immediately.

    I would definitely do business with them in the future. For one of the first times in my life "it was a pleasure doing business" with a company, namely 'Oh My Dog Supplies'.

    I buy the Furminator deshedding conditioner so I figured getting the shampoo would be a good touch. It was, I have mostly long hair doggos and this makes their hair silky soft. Between the conditioner and this shampoo I can always tell when cleaning if it's time to bathe the dogs by the amount of hair I collect. I did need to water this product down unlike the conditioner, I watered it down 5 parts water to 1 part shampoo - it's just too thick and I had a hard time getting the stuff off of my hand when I tried it before putting it on my dog. It lasts a looooong time too, much cheaper and easier than constantly buying the smaller bottles. To make life easier, I kept the old shampoo bottles from Furminator and just refill them to make sure I don't mix up mine from theirs...

    I have 2 pugs, both are about 20lbs and shed like crazy all year round. Its been driving us nuts, and brushing them weekly with the furminator was time consuming and harsh on their skin (maybe I was a little too maniacal about getting every strand of fur.) Enter the deshedding shampoo... It smells like coconuts, which is nice and my hands feel softer after giving the dogs a bath. It definitely takes the fur off. After the bath, and even after they've dried, I don't notice any fur coming off of them. But then 2 days later it seems the cycle starts all over and by the next bath (week and a 1/2) they're shedding everywhere. So I would say it definitely works at taking the fur off during the bath, but it hasn't prevented shedding on the pugs. It may work on longer haired dogs better, but since the pugs are so short haired, I think I'd have to wash them everyday to keep up with their fur growth/shed cycle. But still, 2 days without shedding is still nice and I'll stick with this shampoo.

    I bought this product because I am desprit to find some help with the shedding situation at my house . We have five labs and one Jack Russell . I used it last night on two of my labs last night. The hair in the bottom of the tub was a lot . This morning I combed them out with the furminator comb. I combed them each for 15 minutes or more and hair is still dropping.
