You're thinking, "They're SOCKS. You can't screw up SOCKS." Well these are in a league of their own -- and I didn't know what I was missing. Their thickness may make them snug inside tight shoes, but for pandemic time around the house, these are better than anything...

    So my mom gave my now-husband a pair of these socks which she had bought for my dad, but he didn't like how thick they were. Now my husband is a disabled vet and he has cold feet all the time. No amount of my donations of leg or foot heat will solve this problem, especially in winter. Regular socks are fine, but this one pair we had... they were the Creme de la creme of the sock world, and we hoarded them and saved them... and then my husband decided "I shall walk outside on concrete what could possibly go wrong!" and then they got a hole. I mean, come on! Ten years of wearing these socks and you walk on concrete! Of course they got a hole! So I searched and searched and found THESE. I got them for him for Christmas and he was THRILLED as adults are with socks as presents. Now is scold him roundly if he so much as sets one toe outside while wearing these THICK, WARM, SOFT socks. Highly recommend.

    I have one pair of the navy and white Thorlos socks and many pairs of the gray and white Thorlos socks. They are identical except for color. However, the navy socks seem to have a wider toe box which is perfect for my wide feet. I feel like my toes could spread out unlike the gray ones which are more constricting pushing my toes together causing them to cross over each other I have bunions and blisters and could barely walk at times. I love, love, love the navy socks! They are extremely expensive so I'll bu one more pair to check for the consistency of the navy socks. Frankly, I don't know why there's any difference between the two. Very thick. Just be sure to buy socks first before buying shoes. You may jump up a size or need to go wider.
