Definitely a must read for anyone not fully informed with hiring for IT positions. The author is detailed with questions and what you should be looking for with answers. Being in the HR field for over 20 years, it's imperative to stay up on the latest technology, even if you aren't personally using it on a day-to-day basis. This was a quick read with great information for anyone who does the interviewing for IT positions.

I have crafted and accumulated these questions for my use during the course of my successful 15 year career in recruiting for information technology positions.  Technical people love to speak technically and these have been a great way to get the conversation flowing.  Starting with this foundation of integrity allows a rapport to quickly develop so you can easily interject your interview/screening with behaviour based and soft skill questions. The technical questions in this book will also have a springboard effect and you will find the candidate providing details and information which will  help you assess their strengths and areas of lessor experience.
