- Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2018Even though I am a meat eater, I always wanna include some more vegetables to make my diet more healthy. I am really surprised with this book as I didn't have much expecation but then I found the text very easy to read and actually quite intersting and informational even for a casual reader like me who knows almost nothing about diet and cooking at all.
The recipes in this book are actually super easy to follow. Even for a guy like me who rarely cook, there is no problem to follow at all. I learn quite a lot about plant based diet and its benefit. I have been following the recipes for my breakfast meal so far and it actually feel goods to have such healthy breakfast. Last but not least, for the price of 1 dollar, the value I got totally exceeds that!

- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2018I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book even being a hardcore meat eater. I found it very interesting to read the comparisons between different mammals and their diet. I wasn't aware of the physical traits we as human have that indicate we were designed for a frugivore diet. This book was very informational and provided an excellent recommendation on how to transition from a onmivorous diet to a frugivorous diet in a simple and gradual way. The author didn't condemn those that eat meat, she simply explained the benefits of a plant based diet and provided facts. Even though I can't commit to completely switching my diet I definitely need to start incorporating more fruits and vegetables. This book was a good wakeup call to start eating more healthy. I look forward to trying out some of these healthy, creative, and seemingly tasty recipes.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2018This book is actually a pamphlet. The writing is frequently redundant with obvious grammatical errors. The conclusions reached are not supported logically or otherwise. The author provides no basisfor the supposed knowledge. The book's cover is strange-- plates of food framed by a woman' s unclothed thighs.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2018I was expecting more in the book for the price of $8.09
- Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2018I think this book has some useful information in it, but I do not think it is worth more than a couple of bucks. I was disappointed - I did buy a couple of other "vegan" books at the same time and they are better resources.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2018This book provides you with quick and easy ways to transition to a plant based diet. It emphasizes the step by step process and gives pratical advice. I really think this book will help those looking for an easy transition guide for a plant based life style.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2020This book is sooo handy - I keep it open in my browser for a quick daily meal inspiration. I went plant-based 9 months ago but I was always a bit disappointed in complicated plant-based or vegan recipes, which is why I really appreciate these simple meals. Few ingredients accessible pretty much everywhere, a few minutes - and voila, I can sit down to eat. Finally, someone understood that plant-based doesn't have to be complicated... Occasionally, I skip an ingredient here and there or replace it with something else if I get inspired, and it works anyway.. Practical, practical, practical. Thanks!

- Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2018A painless plan to wean yourself off of animal products! This author has done a great job of making a plant based diet accessible for all of us. Her positive attitude and non-judgmental approach is the first thing that jumped out at me. The Author doesn’t preach and guilt you, rather she presents a plant based diet as a multi-benefit gift. She explains how humans are structured to be vegetarians, that humans are built to run properly on a plant based diet. The 4 week plan to ease into the vegetarian lifestyle is seamless and totally doable. If you want to go veggie but don’t know how to start, this book is for you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to produce recipes, a great start to a plant based diet
I was impressed by how easy it was to follow and produce the recipes in this book without a ton of time involved. I really like the overnight oats and Bulgar salad. The author really makes starting a plant based diet seem possible and writes with a tone which makes you feel good about making this healthier choice. The 4 week program is a great model for slowly changing eating habits.

1.0 out of 5 stars A pamphlet not a book
Really disappointed. This is not a good book. It is more like a pamphlet. Not good quality. Not worth the money. Very few recipes.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
I thought this looked like a good starting point for changing to a plant based diet but it doesn’t have enough recipes to support a four week program. It does have some good information and tips to help start but falls short of my expectations, overall it’s disappointing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed
This is so small for the price. It doesn’t state that it’s basically a magazine.
