Drugs as Weapons Against Us meticulously details how a group of opium-trafficking families came to form an American oligarchy and eventually achieved global dominance. This oligarchy helped fund the Nazi regime and then saved thousands of Nazis to work with the Central Intelligence Agency. CIA operations such as MK-Ultra pushed LSD and other drugs on leftist leaders and left-leaning populations at home and abroad. Evidence supports that this oligarchy further led the United States into its longest-running wars in the ideal areas for opium crops, while also massively funding wars in areas of coca plant abundance for cocaine production under the guise of a “war on drugs” that is actually the use of drugs as a war on us. Drugs as Weapons Against Us tells how scores of undercover U.S. Intelligence agents used drugs in the targeting of leftist leaders from SDS to the Black Panthers, Young Lords, Latin Kings, and the Occupy Movement. It also tells how they particularly targeted leftist musicians, including John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, and Tupac Shakur to promote drugs while later murdering them when they started sobering up and taking on more leftist activism. The book further uncovers the evidence that Intelligence agents dosed Paul Robeson with LSD, gave Mick Jagger his first hit of acid, hooked Janis Joplin on amphetamines, as well as manipulating Elvis Presley, Eminem, the Wu Tang Clan, and others.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"Both well-researched and an exhilarating read, Drugs as Weapons Against Us exposes the dark history of the state’s use of drugs as both a tool of imperialism abroad and of social control at home." —Kara Dellacioppa, chair of the Sociology Department, California State University; author, This Bridge Called Zapatismo; editor, Cultural Politics and Resistance in the 21st Century

“In my first radio interview, Frank Zappa told me the CIA was distributing LSD to the hippies. [
Drugs as Weapons Against Us is] Unbelievable! Just a compelling story!” —Allan Handelman, Rock Talk

"Awesome guest [John Potash]… is going out on a limb. This is a book that if you’re interested in the manipulation of the population, you’re going to want to get. This is the kind of book I just crave.” —Joyce Riley,
The Power Hour

“[John Potash] has done a wonderful job of research and a wonderful job of presenting [his] facts.” —Rob McConnell,
The X Zone

“When Lennon met semi-privately with media guru Marshall McLuhan in late 1969, McLuhan let Lennon know he was a ‘useful fool,’ and The Beatles were [used] for psychological warfare… in popularizing drugs. Lennon stormed out but came back a few hours later to learn more. [
Drugs as Weapons Against Us] is exhilarating and well-researched… with startling revelations… definitely worth the read!” —Richard Syrett, The Conspiracy Show

“The CIA have used drugs as weapons against Americans… to control people or pacify dissension against the official status quo—the government’s war policies… We should not delude ourselves that U.S. Intelligence has repented and would never repeat these operations… Many people still look at the rapid rise of the hallucinogenic use among these popular Sixties rock stars such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix as positive contributions—I don’t—to the Sixties idealism—It wasn’t—about the world’s possibility for peace, love and global cooperation—that’s naïve. Nevertheless, we barely consider the possibility that such pacifist views were the intention of U.S. Intelligence agencies, and the CIA and its moneyed interests had a role in creating the Sixties subculture and [leading them to] dropping out and leaving behind radical dissent and protest. [John Potash has] covered so much in [his] research… we appreciate his work.” —Gary Null,
WBAI 99.5 FM

“The book is amazing!” —David Clyde,
The Wild Side 990AM WBOB, Rhode Island

“I just got the book a couple days ago and I can’t wait to read it. I really can’t.” —Bill LuMaye, WPTF, 680AM/850AM Raleigh, Duram, Chapel Hill, NC. Listed in Talkers magazine Top 250

“This is a marvelous book!” —John B. Wells,
Caravan to Midnight and former host of Coast to Coast AM

"I really think [
Drugs as Weapons Against Us] is a fascinating compendium of… what the CIA was doing... regarding manipulating our minds… targeting a lot of famous celebrities, musicians. [John Potash is] an author I really recommend you read… definitely read Drugs as Weapons Against Us." —Sean Stone, Buzzsaw on The Lip TV

This book is a must read, a history book of forbidden truth. It relays facts that are both unpleasant and shocking. I was one of those kids who joined the SDS after it had been infiltrated by the FBI. Agents disguised as hippies saw to it that I unwittingly broke the law and threatened with prison and a massive fine, and was eventually set up for a drug bust when agents planted marijuana in my car. Their threats took me out of the movement. I was scared to be seen at a demonstration from fear of being prosecuted. They knew me and followed me and I just gave up and fell for the false ecstasy of LSD and STP, the peace that didn't exist and the love that was truly sex and drugs and rock and roll. I saw a generation turned into lost children wandering like zombies offering free love that was really free sex. The advertising was everywhere and a nonconformist generation conformed to the most perverted way of thinking with addled minds. And the memories of those times, the posters made by CIA shills, the voices of leaders like Timothy Leary and Wavy Gravy--they haunt me now. Nowhere is this mad dash to stupid documented more accurately than in the pages of this meticulously constructed work of non-fiction. The chapters unfold in history like blows to the consciousness. The footnotes will curl your hair as you read through 500 pages of death, destruction and pitiful misunderstandings. It is time to wake up from the acid dream and live in the real world that has been created by our secret government ran by a handful of drug running families with trillions of dollars to spend on oppression and murder and genocides around the planet. From the Opium Wars that turned China British to the poppy fields of Afghanistan where our troops we unwittingly call heroes to bolster their egos while they guard the precious fruits of oppression and kill innocents by the millions and bring home misery. We are victims of mind control and it is time to wake up from our acid dreams and take responsibility for a revolution that was crushed with drugs and murders and wars against non-white cultures. The revolution has been postponed indefinitely. It is time to know and reevaluate. This book bravely gives us the truth of the true heroes who were misled, confused and driven by the pressure of conformity as they were drugged and murdered in our midst. Conspiracy is a crime and we need to put the real criminals into the prisons they have made for our rebels and the weakest and most downtrodden and tortured souls with skin colors that are darker than the overlords.

When the CIA is involved, the only proof will tend to be circumstantial. This book by Mr. Potash provides shelves full of overwhelming circumstantial evidence suggesting rogue agencies such as CIA are used by the Ruling Oligarchy to routinely commit crimes against Main Street citizens, in these cases, left leaning citizens. I personally detest socialism in any form as a financially unsustainable, delusional, spiritually devastating ideology that destroys the human pursuit of excellence and personal responsibility. That said, our strength as a once free nation came not from conformance and agreement; but from respectable disagreement and an honest debate as to appropriate societal solutions. No American citizen, even communists ought have their Constitutionally recognized right to free speech and assembly compromised, not to mention totally destroyed via intimidation and possibly murder. I can't vouch for the veracity of this book, but it is incredibly well documented from multiple independent sources and I find it largely and convincingly believable. The fact that this book has even been written, even if it's only 25% or 50% correct in its allegations, is an absolute disgrace to Main Street America, our uninformed political impotence and our out-of-control, Washington D.C., Administrative Dictatorship. This is a great piece of work and should be recommended reading for every American citizen who cares about freedom for themselves, their friends and families and their children.

Creating a 21st Century Win-Win Economy: The problems and the solutions by Mark S. Pash, CFP. This discussion on Monetary Reform is a stunningly in your face primer that examines the financial system, some historic background, a darkly harsh presentation marking factors used for economic validation originally written to his grandchildren.
Some of the elements Pash focuses on may inspire advocacy and haunt you as to why the changes weren’t seen earlier by governmental and financial officials. Beyond the perception that money buys love, status and comfortability, Pash shows how we are caught up into the ownership of glitziness, fame and long-term wealth and how it identifies us. When we think about it this identity does so at a stark price we often don’t want to address. Pash states that many of us use money on the basis for our salvation as well as a huge source of our torment. So we ask ourselves what we truly know about it and how we become pawns in governments’ poor usage when we can vote these representatives out.

The range of examples causes you to rethink how you spend your money, from a child, to an adult, to being a family, to a nation while understanding its effect, contrast and differences on an international level. The tragedy of all of this is that we have gone through the flirting of heavy credit card usage, risky loan “gaming” from established banksters, small lines of credit being eaten up huge interest rates, and paper money, minus the coloration, appearing like monopoly game money. The only thing we haven’t seen lately is the short term effects of a run on a bank, in fractional-reserve banking system as reported in Greece. It is hauntingly amazing with all of the computer technology and historical knowledge that the fear of the 1933 Great Depression could happen again.

This amazing primer on monetary reform promotes wanting to know the difference it makes and its effect on other currency. We begin to see why America appears to be “different" and the “land of opportunity” is attractive to foreign capitalists. Beyond the solutions given, you are deeply held emotionally in seeing Pash’s expansion and journey in the financial market and why he wants everyone with a dollar to rethink its value, its power, and undeniable demand throughout the world. Pash wants us to see our exchanging of money as customers. Pash exposes a deeply thinking person what viable money is and how explicitly narrow our shallow understanding is. Why do we deny knowing the truth?
Start watching the journey of money and see the ebbs and flow it creates to unraveling how it effects decision making around us. Understand how “a fool and his money will soon part”, when you contrast what we are taught at home, in school and in our communities but moreover, how the unrepentant worship and reality money is to our lives.

Pash may be sharp, very raw and academic in his presentation, however his 45 years of knowledge, developing the center, and teaching how to promote a quality global economy is his hope in answering the complexities of Econo speak and showing real examples to the community. So he offers an opportunity for people to arrange home, group, and large conferences to answering questions regarding oligarchies and how they persist. His expertise fills the gaps.
