    I homeschooled my kids for many years. These books were always a high light of our day. Both my son and daughter enjoyed them so much (which could not be said of every subject and learning tool) and they learned a lot from them too. Such a simple, small thing to bring some joy to each day. My kids are almost grown now, but these little nature readers gave me some very sweet memories. If I had young ones again, I would definitely use these once more.

    What a vivid book! It's been a wonderful educational book for my son, as he's been learning about how the body works. But it's very factual and talks about blood in a way that can leave someone faint if they are sensitive to that. But I think that is good. Sometimes, we have to learn about the reality of life. He'll never forget these lessons. Highly recommend.

    These are excellent books. I use these as supplemental material for my homeschooled 10 year old. They have great information, but it doesn't get so in depth that it loses her attention. I like the comprehension questions after each chapter also and it gives me a way to test what she has learned.
