- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2013If you are about to start out in college, or even if you have already got a few years under your belt, this book is a valuable resource. Even though it is aimed particularly at psychology students, it contains a lot of material that will assist any student. Whether you want to know about study strategies and exam preparation, or how to write an academic essay this book is for you.
I tutor first-year psychology students, and I have found that this book can give them an advantage. It is written in plain english, and enables them to come to terms with the demands of studying at third level.
So if you want to give yourself a head start, buy this book! You won't be sorry!

I am a retired professor and PhD in physiology, it is a shame that when I studied I did not have this book, but I told my daughter that it was a wonderful book and that she should take advantage of it in her university studies.
