- Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2024This was an excellent read! Pastor Michelle Roberts was faced with a difficult decision and she chose to lie instead of telling the truth. Jeff was a horrible older brother. Instead of being supportive of his sister, he was jealous and hoping she would fall. Michelle and Jeff were both keeping secrets. But God's grace and mercy was present in this book. I highly recommend this read.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2019Excellent read. So many life lessons are reflected in this book. Everyone can relate to the events displayed in the characters lives. God's ways are not our ways and His plans for our lives shall come to fruition. Delayed but not denied. Awesome book about lies, truth, betrayal, sibling rivalry, family, sins, jealousy, church folks, and forgiveness.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2019I liked the human side of Michelle, in that she did what she did. I think for the most part she did it for Candace but a lot had to do with her selfishness. What I did not like was how the characters were always described.. Light skin, caramel brown. Why not just be an attractive black lady or man. All the paper bag color description - too much. Except for a few typos here and there, I did e joy the book. We all fall short even the pastor. I recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2022This was a good book. It was good from the beginning to the end. I'm glad things worked out after all the lies were exposed.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2019Oh my God, this by far was a great book. I never write a review but I always read the review before I read a book. God is still in control everyone. God is good. God is always on time. God is a forgiving, God. Always keep God first . To the author of this book you did an AMAZING job. Thank you!!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2019I really enjoyed this story. I knew Courtney was going to tell her dad, we all knew. But Pastor Girl should of went to the Police first. It's sad that she lied to everyone especially her best friend.
