- Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2020Clear instructions and plenty of pictures to help you tie pretty much any knot that you need. Going sailing? There’s knots for that. How about hiking or rappelling? There’s knots for that too. There’s also an assortment of knots that you can tie for pretty much any practical application. This is a great book to learn the knots you want and or need.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2019This is a very nice book. When I placed the order I thought it may be a bit over priced. However I was pleasantly surprised when I received the book. This is a very high quality book and the spiral binding makes it very easy to set down while I follow along with the photos.
Photos are clear and easy to follow. The overall size of the book is also perfect, as you can easily pack it in a bag for a trip.
My only suggestion would be to offer an inserted pouch to hold a piece of rope. I like to carry a book and piece of rope so can practice anytime I have a few minutes.
Great product.

Overall I am very happy with this purchase... my husband was thrilled to have received this and our kiddo (11yrs old) will also be using this book with us.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2023Extremely detailed. If you are a visual learner you have come to the right place...or....book!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2020The diagrams and pictures are nice enough but there's not a single splice in the book. If I knew or imagined that it didn't include the eye splice, I wouldn't have bought it. If you're looking for a comprehensive set of knots, look elsewhere. Not at all complete.

5.0 out of 5 stars The only knot book you will need
Easy to follow and with explanations as to how knots are used. Ring binding is essential as you'll need 2 free hands.
Ignore any other knot books that are not ring bound.

All the knots you’ll ever need, terrific illustrations, very helpful text, great “form factor” for the physical book itself.
