Gilliam, which empowers readers to gain a full understanding of Who, Why, Where, When, and How violent situations may occur in your life, and how you can avoid or defend against them.
This is how the system works: First, read book #1, Sheep No More: The Art of Awareness and Attack Survival. Jonathan T. Gilliam grew up in the Ozark mountains of north Arkansas, and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a BA double major in Political Science and Psychology. Gilliam began his career in service as a Police Officer just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas before he received his commission in the United States Navy at Officer Candidate School (OCS). After graduating Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL (BUD/S) training, Gilliam was assigned to SEAL Team FOUR where he received his SEAL Trident. After attending US Army RANGER School, Gilliam forward deployed as Officer in Charge (OIC) in Central and South America as a Navy SEAL Officer on Counter Drug/Narcotics missions.
In 2002, Gilliam stepped out of military service and directly into federal law enforcement where he served in an undercover role as a Federal Air Marshal flying on US transcontinental flights, including flights that were being targeted on 9/11/2002 by Islamic jihadists. Later that year Gilliam also served as a Security Specialist Contractor for the US Department of Homeland Security, responsible for Instructing soft target sectors as a member of an assault team showing them how they could target themselves from an attacker's perspective in order to build awareness for action and better defenses for reaction to attacks.
From 2005-2013, Gilliam served with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent in the New York Office on criminal and counterterrorism squads. Gilliam conducted 1000s of hours on surveillance, served as co-case and case agent, led arrest teams and functioned as the Special Events Management Unit (SEMU) Coordinator, where he developed threat assessments on targets in the New York area and functioned as the on scene coordinator at high threat events and large-scale incidents. in 2012, Gilliam served as the FBI Rapid Deployment Team Coordinator, where he outfitted and assisted in coordinating the deployment of agents to Benghazi to investigate the crime scene in Libya following the terrorist attack that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods.
Currently, Gilliam is the only analyst in today's media that possesses operational experience in military Special Forces combined with experience in multiple local and federal law enforcement agencies displaying a breadth and depth of knowledge in operations and leadership that is unmatched. He has made thousands of appearances on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, NEWSMAX, OANN, and other global and local news networks. He is a Sirius XM host where he fills in for Sean Hannity, Andrew Wilkow, and David Webb, and he is the host of his own live show called The EXPERTS that is simulcast weeknights at 8pm EST on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
Gilliam’s first book, Sheep No More; The Art Of Awareness And Attack Survival debuted for pre-sale on the Amazon Best Seller list with continued success since its release on December 12, 2017.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2019Very detailed information on the importance and strategy for self defense in every day life. It's a must-have handbook for those are concerned with safety for self and love ones.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2022makes self protection easy
- Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2022I bought the book and the two workbooks. I haven't read the book yet, so I can't say whether I actually need these. I think they are best used by professionals in the various security/safety fields. As I read the book, I will consider using them. I think that this is why the workbooks are sold separately and not together with the book as a three book set.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2020Received the workbook expecting more content, instead received multiple templates.... more fillers than content...
- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2020If you are not at least marginally associated or familiar with the business and/or are not planning to take it to the next level, this book may not be for you. That being said, Volume 2 does a superb job of meticulously walking one through setting up assessments and addressing the ramifications.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2022I understand the purpose of the book, but volume one and volume two should be about 40 pages long in one volume and available as ancillary material to the book which is great. For like $10.99 I can photocopy what's in the book, don't need $395 copies of it.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2021Save your money and buy some notepad paper. That’s what most of this is comprised of. A lot of filler in all this series of books are blank pages of notebook paper that you fill in. Could’ve saved a bundle of money by not filling the book with notebook paper
- Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2021This was a Christmas present and I was very happy it arrived so fast.
