She has used it and says that it it’s much like low carb cooking, but the recipes are good and easy to use! The food seems to be helping her feel better and loose weight, too.

I can't eat all nuts so all the recipes that use almond flour or butter are a waste for me. There were a few great recipes that I use repeatedly. Cannot attest to the claim that these foods will alleviate Lupus symptoms however.

The issue I have though is that according to page 15, the #4 item that causes inflammation is beans/legumes... the cookbook shows green beans on the cover AND is shown as the picture for the intro to the snacks/sides (page 42). If we are supposed to avoid legumes, why is the author promoting them?

For someone who has lupus, I learned a few more things. Certainly didn't fancy some of the recipes. However some have become a weekly event. A handy read.
