Quick Reference Neuroscience for Rehabilitation Professionals is written specifically for the rehabilitation professional and student. What I liked about this book was it explained fully the functional and integration of the brain first. Then it goes into some of the potential problem areas in detail so you can see how the brain gets changed and then through neuroplasticity how it can make some recovery. For example after my head trauma, I had haematomas in five places. This book explained in detail the impact and some of the ways they can be treated. Then it talked about potential consequences of the injuries. For example in my case, I was paralysed down my left side. It discussed this as a possible scenario, what caused it and the prognosis. So although my case was a specific scenario, I can see how it would also assist Rehab healthcare professionals with multiple diverse cases.
