It's hard to believe but... Asking your child to stop talking with his mouth full is likely to increase this bad habit. Telling your child to use his words instead of his hands will probably increase this behavior. This is by far the best parenting advice book I have read (and I have read a few!). It’s a reasonable, straightforward, easy to understand approach and makes complete sense to me. It seems so intuitive and yet I didn’t really know how to deal with misbehavior until this book explained how the process works from a neuroscience perspective. Absolutely worth it!!!

Being very familiar with Mrs. Radcliffe's work, I can say that this book is a concise, important, very practical, universally wise and implemenable guide! Should be required reading for all parents at every stage! Through her books and lectures, Mrs. Radcliffe has been an Indispensable part of mine and my husband's Journey as we raise our six children together.

Sarah Chana is one of my all time favorite authors and I love the narrow scope of the book. A great read!

As a professional I found this book to be written in a way that does not explain child behaviour or how to work with a child in a clear and concise manor
