- Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2024This book has been very helpful in my health quest.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2019When I was diagnosed with Osteopenia in my spine, I didn't get much information from the doctor except to take calcium and do weight bearing exercise. What I like best about this book is the concise description of the condition, and how to combat and hopefully reverse it. The book contains beginning to advanced exercise programs with pictures. I only had to make a small investment in exercise ball and bands, foam rollers and a large tennis ball, and they are well worth it for doing the exercises properly. I already see better posture and balance. This book gave me a roadmap to what I hope will be a great improvement in my condition.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2018It's taken me a while to get into this book.....but it has turned out to be an excellent buy. While it is great to watch exercise videos, what happens when you try to do something and you can't do it? This book has proven to be very effective at creating multiple exercises to get you from A to Z. And, there are multiple exercise programs for Osteoporotic individuals, a fast & furious total body workout, multiple programs for healthy individuals, and flexibility workouts. If you are concerned about how much you can do and not hurt yourself, this is an excellent start. Loads of advice in the front section. And, if you need progressive exercises to get you to a certain point, he has that too!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2024Great exercises and stretches with photographs.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2021This is a great book, full with lots of exercises, this is what I was looking for, all the other books give you just a vague examples of exercises but not enough for you to make a routine. I'm a person which do exercise every day, but after I was diagnosed with osteoporosis I was scare to keep doing them, now I know which ones I can do and which ones I can't. I don't think that is a book for people who never did exercise before.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excersise
This is a good book, but more explanation on how to do the excercises would be better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good purchase
I really like this book, I have already purchased other exercise books for Osteoporosis, and this gives some different exercises, stretches, advice re weighted vest and using free weights. I fractured my spine in 2 places last year, and I am able to do the exercises in this book. It gives clear instruction for those with Osteoporosis and those wishing to not get Osteoporosis. There will always be similar exercises in books for OP, but its a good book, well worth buying.
