- Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2019I highly suggest Notgrass's book not only to give your children a clear and deep coverage for economics but it's also a great history book as well. We took a year off from Sonlight History curriculum (which I have used faithfully for 12 years) to go through his curriculum. The kids were very interested in how the theories that Notgrass discussed could be seen in the real world. I was an economics student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and I learned more in this one book than I did in four college year of economics study! I can't understand how one reviewer thought that his ideas were right winged. They were very objective and well considered. He addresses (without being explicit) both sides of the political spectrum and how the desires of both liberals and conservatives can serve and detract from a growing economy. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading it again with my younger boys!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2017We have very much enjoyed this brand of curriculum and this course in particular. It covers the material and content we wanted for this subject matter. The four recommended books as reading material really added to the subject matter. My boys and I had some great discussions and life lessons explored from the extra reading. There is also a little project to complete each week which further helps in retention of the material and different activities are given so each kid can have several choices. The curriculum is more interactive than simply reading a textbook which was much appreciated. It was also challenging enough curriculum for high school level and covered the subject matter thoroughly. We also appreciated the explorations and tying in of Biblical themes. Highly recommend to also add the student pack.

Well written
Easy to understand
Great for teenagers and adults
- Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2025This is not the full set as shown in the picture and description. This is only the Exploring Economics and making choices books.
Very disappointed.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2018Be aware that this text is clearly biased toward a more Republican, right-wing interpretation of economics. The bias is very clear. The ways of applying scripture to economic theory is also too simple and also biased to the right side of US politics.
