- Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2015This is a nice illustrated guide to some of the common plants and animals you will see in Alaska. It is light weight enough that it would be easy to carry around with you, although the format is too big to fit in a pocket.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2014Excellent information with very detailed, precise drawings of each living critter and plant in Alaska.
The detailed descriptions of each of the creatures, including plant life, is invaluable for anyone planning on hiking the back country or staking their claim and moving to Alaska.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2021I took this with me to Alaska and used it to identify species as we saw them. Most were in the book with brief descriptions, but some were missing, common names not included. All in all, it met my needs @nd wasn’t too heavy to carry in my backpack.
