Undivided: Developing a Worldview Approach to Biblical Integration Paperback – June 1, 2016
Purchase options and add-ons
Students today are surrounded by competing and contradictory worldviews. They look to their teachers for guidance, but too often, teachers feel ill-equipped to present a compelling and integrated biblical worldview leaving students with splintered perspectives that separate secular from sacred.
Through strategic curriculum design and committed biblical study, teachers at any level, kindergarten through college, can develop wholehearted students who think and act out of a biblical worldview in life and learning.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2018Martha MacCullough has a helpful approach to biblical integration in the Christian school classroom. She focuses on worldview (as indicated in the title) and takes time to unpack what a worldview is and describe major worldviews. This description relies heavily on Sire's "The Universe Next Door," which provides a more comprehensive view, and probably more time needs to be devoted to post-modern worldviews.
After the worldview section, she invests multiple chapters in providing a model for worldview integration in one's teaching. While not a "cookbook" approach, it is a practical and includes examples that will help teachers apply the information to their classroom setting.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2018The author caught my attention maybe in 3 chapters out of the 17. If the book explained in more detail how to integrate a Biblical worldview in lessons it would’ve been more helpful.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2019This book was a required reading for our staff at a Christian school. I am thankful because I’m not sure I would have chosen to read it on my own.
Undivided does a great job defining and outlining what Biblical Worldview integration looks like. It is clearly explained how to use this approach to enhance a students education regardless of whether you’re at a Christian school or not.
Any person who is serious about educating students can (if they choose) benefit from this book.
