- Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2024I purchased this book for my daughter who has played piano for years. The arrangements are not for the beginner. I would suggest at least an intermediate-advanced level. There are five suites included and each is quite long. My daughter absolutely loves the book!

- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2023Love these arrangements. They're challenging for an advanced pianist but not impossible.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2020Finally, an advanced book filled with classic songs. The arrangements are beautiful and actually require some practicing to get the hang of. If you want a book with easy songs that have the theme in the right hand and some chordal accompaniment in the left hand, don't buy this book. The arrangements are written for veteran piano players and have a lot of fast runs and sixteenth note passages. That said, if you've been looking for a good challenge and like these popular songs, you should definitely buy this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2020Most of the disney piano sheet music that I searched up online is fairly easy and great for beginners, but I was looking for something advanced. And this book, was exactly what I wanted. It's filled with syncopation, polyrhythms, musicality: everything a classical pianist could ever ask for. I'd say it's at least late intermediate level. So a warning: if you haven't been studying classical piano for at least five years yet, this might be a little too difficult.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2018I have a number of Phillip Keveren books that I've enjoyed, including some of his Disney books. I'm slightly disappointed in this one. His arrangements are beautiful, but I think he indulges himself a little too much sometimes. All of these arrangements seem to have long cantible passages that have nothing to do with the piece. Where is the melody? What happened to the song I was playing? I get that it's an arrangement, but I wish he'd stick to a song so it could be recognized.
These are difficult pieces that are for intermediate and advanced players. I'm unsure if I'd order more of his arrangements.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2020This has awesome arrangements in it! I have gotten tired of piano solo books that are not really that difficult. This one does not disappoint. Easily Level 6. It's like playing a Beethoven or Chopin piano sonata.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeously arranged music for advanced pianists
I love that at last, I have found the sort of music I love to play and listen to, at a challenge level right for me. Please do not get this unless you are an advanced pianist as you will struggle. I am a professional pianist and I can sight-read it but need to work on more challenging segments which is great as there's no point in not getting better.
The selections and arrangements are all gorgeously put together into the four different suites with a nice variety of song choices included; rather than them all being the well-known ballads for example, there's Les Poissons in the Little Mermaid suite and Gaston in the Beauty and the Beast one.
My only complaint is that I feel Poor Unfortunate Souls should be included as Ursula is a Goddess, but it doesn't detract from my enjoyment enough to not rate it 5 stars.

3.0 out of 5 stars Advanced pianist only
The songs for each movie are arranged as 1 continous suite. So each movie score is many pages long. It's a challenge to work through, which was the whole point.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely
Lovely arrangements. As is typical of Phillip Keveran, there are quite a few runs which is fine, it helps me practice. I’m enjoying it.
