- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2018I’m planning to travel to CDMX soon, and thought it would be good to pick up a newly published book on the city. I was delighted when this book arrived. It’s not a conventional travel guide at all, and doesn’t purport to be. Rather, it’s a design-oriented guide to the city’s artsy corners, written by a resident with a love of the city and design. This book finds places where the ordinary is beautiful, and highlights off-the-beaten track sights and shops for the traveler who wants to find special treasures. The book itself is a triumph of design and is fun to peruse in order or randomly. And the book is sturdy and high quality and the pictures are cool. It’s provided much inspiration for my visit!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2020Even if you don't plan on going anytime soon, this is a beautiful book to flip through. It's a good mix of hitting the well-known spots as well as many that you haven't heard of yet. It was written by someone with a design background so I feel like it's had some really good suggestions for people who have a creative side.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2019Beautiful coffee table book but not a great book for bringing on your trip. This book is beautiful—filled with great photos but because of it’s weight it’s not a practical travel book to bring on your trip to CDMX.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2019I’m -landing a first trip to Mexico City and it seems like a huge, confusing city to me. I like the organization of the book and it’s selective opinions on all of the the info a visitor needs. I have a friend from Mexico City who totally approved of the book’s selections of hotels, resto, museums, shopping, etc.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2023We bought this and another book as remembrances of a recent trip to Mexico City. As a travel guide it is limited. It is a book by an artist who really focuses on more modern artistic as aspects of the City. The design of the book reflects this emphasis as well, with more photos than text. And many of the photos are what I might call lovely decoration. For a guide book, especially of the older historic sights of Mexico City, look elsewhere. For an impression of the modern Mexico City this is a good starting point.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2018I loved the easy, helpful and color coordinated chapters. The layout, pictures, text and categories were perfect for what I like when I’m traveling. I have been to Mexico City several times and I was amazed at the new and unique places to visit that I had no idea were there. The colors that the author used were so typically Mexican. I would highly recommend this book to anyone!!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2020Every page is gorgeous. Mexico City deserves the loving treatment it gets in this book. Almost as good as visiting in person.

4.0 out of 5 stars Un punto de vista diferente sobre Ciudad de México
Es interesante tener el punto de vista de un extranjero que vivió en Ciudad de México, porque suelen observar cosas distintas a los que nacimos aquí

3.0 out of 5 stars Buena información, basica. Poca calidad
Buen libro de referencia pero muy básico, como guía sencilla cumple. Falta calidad en los materiales y si bien es util, hay mucho por mejorar.
