More fun stuff from a very funny writer/editor/observer extraordinaire! Please don’t edit out your wonderful sense of humor and slightly lopsided way of looking at things. The world and especially healthcare need that right now!

I always enjoy Kerry's books. Sometimes there is a story that makes you stop and take a look at yourself then promise never to be mean to people who are trying to help. The rest of the time you'll spend thoroughly enjoying the funny, crazy, enlightening stories.

I think all of these books are written amazingly well. I do read them through my Kindle & understand that when things are translated you will sometimes get small errors. No reason to get your panties in a bunch. I never feel any of these books are racist in anyway. You get to see how other people react on possibly their worst day then how they heal from that. Blessings to all.

Just the other day, my daughter was commenting about the phases of the moon.
She works as a pharmacy tech. She has well over 20 years on the job.
That night we were sitting in the hallway of our local hospital listening to a female screaming obscenities and fighting with anyone who went near her. They finally had to restrain her. Shortly after a few police officers entered her room.
The ER was over full and there were several of us on beds in the hallways.
My daughter commented that there must be a full moon. At that point, several workers and my daughter discovered that the moon was not quite completely full, but would be within the next couple of days. It seemed to explain a lot!

I have likes all of this author’s stories and so frequently stay up later than I should to finish her books. I recommend to anyone interested in some of the normal and not so normal things that go in an an er.

I lost it when I read the line about "you prefer the werewolves for the next full moon...." . Thanks for a good laugh on a 12-hour trans atlantic flight. The book was hilarious and entertaining. BTW, I read those 1-star comments..... I DO NOT find the content and attitude to be judgmental, rather the author finds humor from the ridiculousness from each such encounter and deal with it the best she could. The rest of us get to read and laugh about it and then everybody moves on, carries on with whatever they were doing before....what's so bad about it? Thanks again for the laughs.

This book was really interesting, not just because it was funny, but it also brought out a really sad side of humanity. I can see some of these stories being on a tv comedy show about dumb people, but it blows my mind that they're that dumb in real life. Maybe humans aren't the smartest beings on earth. Ms. Hamm truly shows how chaotic working in a hospital can be. And sometimes, how thankless.
    I enjoyed this book immensely.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kerry has done it again

I love Kerry's sassy style of writing and enjoy the books immensely. Although scientists will tell you there is no correlation between full moon as weird happenings, I am yet to find a professional that doesn't say this doesn't happen. As someone who suffers with the chronic disease fibromyalgia, I occasionally have too visit a@e myself.Although these books show I'm far from a frequent flyer ( learnt this term through these books) as even though my condition is extremely painful I have only attended once in the last four years, but have always found everyone involved in my care to be truly amazing , and have the most true respect for them, these books have often kept me entertained when in pain. So a big thank you to Kerry for that, have more than once got me through a painful night. As I have said.in a previous review keep them coming Kerry!!😀

As we have just experienced a full moon and know the antics of our two cats during full moon, what makes people any different? Both my husband and I have worked with in emergency services industry and are all too familiar with the moon's phases. We alongside Police, Firies & Ambulance Officers don't look forward to full moon phases. Not to public holidays or long weekends. Thanks Kerry :)

I've just finished book 6 . I've read all so far in sequence and shall continue to the end of the series. Really moving and well written. It's truly a shame that all health care workers are so under valued, under paid and under appreciated
