I took a chance on this being that there were no reviews. Right off the bat, I am 100% happy with my purchase. -it's a notebook size log. Which is what I wanted. I'm not a fan of the smaller reader's journals I've had in the past. -the cover is beautiful and really does have a matte finish. Feels lovely. -TABLE OF CONTENTS. Sorry to shout. I've always been frustrated with journals that just jump into book reviews. I like to have an actual log to look at to be able to give a quick glance at when I can't remember the actual title of something I want to suggest to a friend. I will often remember parts of the story or a bit of the title, so seeing the titles spark my memory. -the table of contents consists of 100 lines to log your titles. -following the table of contents you will have a page each to record the specifics of the book as well as a review. -after the pages to review they've added the list of 100 books to read. I am hoping to read 100 books next year and this planner has exactly 100 entries so it is perfect!     You can't beat this for the price! Both the front and back covers are very attractive. The inside pages are bright white and nicely organized. It feels pretty solid as far as the construction so I believe it will prove durable for the life of its use. There's plenty of room to write a review without all the other "noise" that I saw in several other reading journals. I wanted something simple and concise to keep track of my reading and I feel this will suit that need well. I wish the paper was fountain pen-friendly but beyond that, I really can't find any fault with this log.

    Era da tempo che cercavo un Reading Journal dove tener traccia delle mie letture e prendere appunti per le recensioni ma in genere ero sempre un po' scoraggiata dai costi (di solito non meno di 15 euro, e mi sembra un po' troppo se da lettore forte rischi di finire le pagine nell'arco di pochi mesi).
    Questo invece si è rivelato l'acquisto perfetto per soli 6 euro circa, tanto che ho potuto prenderne 2 per uno spazio totale di 200 libri. Dentro i vari campi sono in inglese ma tutto è molto chiaro anche per chi ne ha una conoscenza basic, e le pagine sono organizzate molto bene: c'è lo spazio per i dati del libro (titolo, autore, editore, genere, numero di pagine e anno di pubblicazione), quello per inserire data di inizio e fine lettura e puoi segnare se il libro è preso in prestito o meno. Anche lo spazio per la recensione per me è sufficiente (soprattutto considerato il prezzo): magari non ci va una recensione lunga ma è ottimo per prendere appunti riassuntivi durante la lettura. Inoltre in ogni pagina c'è lo schema per la valutazione (da 1 a 5) del romanzo e un mini ispiration tree per segnare cosa ti ha ispirato quella lettura e a chi la raccomanderesti.
    Molto carina anche l'idea di inserire all'inizio del Journal un indice in cui riepilogare nome e genere dei libri letti e recensiti, mentre alla fine c'è una lista di 100 libri consigliati per le letture future, una paginetta per prendere appunti vari e uno spazio per tener traccia dei libri presi in prestito. Ottimo acquisto.
