- Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2018So I bought this book thinking I was buying “Fierce Conversations”. Turns out I was buying the wrong book - which turned out to be the best mistake I ever made because this book is way way better! This is hands down one of the best books I have read on leadership. The author takes a straight shooter, no nonsense, no BS, no pontificating approach to how to be a kick a$$ Manager! It’s great for leaders of all levels and walks through some foundational things (in a no nonsense way that doesn’t make you feel stupid) and then gets into how to actually establish trust with your direct reports. As in “say this” and “do this”. It is a very practical guidebook. I used an entire highlighter on every nugget I found - some pages are entirely highlighted!
I will recommend this book to anyone I know. It is by far the most practical advice on getting things done, without leaving bodies in your wake.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2019Speak up. Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind. Radical candor exposes the dangers of remaining silent and not giving needed feedback. We all need to learn to provide feedback with caring.

5.0 out of 5 stars powerful ideas on how to lead with honesty and kindness
This book has popped up many times on suggested reading lists for leaders.
After reading it, I can see why as it is packed with powerful ideas on how to use honesty and kindness to help our teams and ourselves reach the fullness of our potential.
What sticks out for me are the suggested approaches coupled with many real-life examples.

5.0 out of 5 stars Da leggere e da riflettere per migliorare, consigliato!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely applicable to Germany/Europe - und ziemlich super
