From learning the theory of probability and different kinds of distribution concepts, to identifying data patterns and graphing and presenting precise findings, this essential guide can help turn statistical math from scary and complicated, to easy and fun.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2023Great descriptions with tangible examples, must go to (along with Naked Statistics) for anyone starting out or brushing the rust off for stats!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2019This is a great book for those that have a basic notion of statistics. After reading it you will know all the fancy words you need to use while speaking about statistics
- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2019Excellent book. Covers topics is an easy-to-understand way, not like a text book. Doesn't contain a lots of hard math stuff.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2024I think more charts to demonstrates some terms and concepts, tables and so on. It's good if you want general information about the topic.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2020good product for preparing for the GRE test
- Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2019I used this book for self-learning.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2024Good information to begin to understand something about statistics, but it has zero explanation on how to use the math to understand the subject.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2019I'm a math major graduate, but I somehow never managed to take a statistics course. I learned what I needed as I went, and that was sufficient. But I wanted to get a more thorough understanding, so I bought this.
The order in which they cover the subject material is haph-hazard. They make references to basic topics that they don't cover until after it's needed in the book. There are several key calculation and numerical errors, which makes understanding the material very confusing in certain areas.
I'm even more disappointed due to the fact that I rather enjoyed other books in the "101" series, but this was a great let-down.
