- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2018I'm a PA student and kept this in my white coat pocket throughout my surgery rotation. I found it perfect for any down time I had and a great shortened review of tons of surgical topics. I learned a handful from this book that I didn't learn in class and was on the EOR exam. Highly recommend for your rotation!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2019Basics of surgery and understanding it from a medical student perspective, cannot be more consisely put elsewhere. Supplement with meded videos and you can't go wrong. And a question bank at the end, helps concepts stick and find weak points.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2021A classic and must-own book for medical students during their surgery rotation.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2018If you're in the surgery clerkship for med school, you should read this book IMMEDIATELY. Quick read and high yield. Made me look less stupid than I actually am.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2017Excellent resource. Read this book and did the questions 2x and felt extremely well prepared for my shelf examination (also did very well). Highly recommended.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2019I started reading the book while on my surgery rotation today, and 5 pages immediately fell out of the binding! Then, when I went to see if I could put them back, I realized the pages are COMPLETELY out of order. It goes from page 14 to 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 to 31, in that order. What the heck am I supposed to do with this information?! Unfortunately I bought this book a while ago in preparation of my current rotation, and the return window has already closed. Feeling VERY let down by this purchase.
