Very Disappointed
I was very excited to receive this book because for $100 I expected something great. The first pages were ripped out of the binder and once I got to the color chips, it became even more disappointed. The chips were either sloppily glued into the squares or ripped or cracked - just terrible. The outside of the binder was bent on both sides. I am returning immediately. I should have paid attention to the review that said Buyer Beware.

    I would like to note that all preceding reviews are of the previous edition; NOT the current/new 5th edition. The new edition has addressed all of these concerns; it's a great edition with improved updates. Please check out the new edition!!

    I have the 3rd Edition. This review is for the Fifth Edition. I don't know what happened but this great workbook is now disappointing as the color chips that are included have gone way down in quality. The brilliant thing about the color set is that you work with the chips to put together the charts thereby learning the key attributes of color: hue, value and chroma. I enjoy teaching from this but now will no more as it provides more of a headache to try and get chip replacements. I'm adding pics of the 4 out of 10 bad sets that my student received. SO Disappointed!

    I purchased 5 of these books (5th Edition) from different vendors and ALL 5 had problems with the chips sticking together! When you carefully pull them apart it pulls off the color found on the chip! It seems to me that the printer/publisher (Fairchild Books - an imprint of Bloomsbury Fashion Central) did not let the chips dry enough before gluing the pages together (and then cutting them into chips). Bloomsbury should rectify this and sell good chips on their website.
    Buyer beware! I'd purchase the older edition that does not have this issue..

    I am so disappointed because I bought this book which was super expensive and it didn’t come with the color chips. I need the color chips for class and didn’t get them. I can’t buy them separately either.
