Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 29, 2016Very good guide! Highly recommend! Gave insights into how to set up and run a support group, even pointing out some of the difficulties one may encounter. Easy reading; lots of good, common sense information.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2017This book is more for a person who is a total beginner at facilitating groups. I am more intermediate or advanced level. I did get a few basic good ideas though from it. 60% of the book just a basic directory of known social service programs and etc.
This is a total case of me judging a book by its cover. Caveat emptor
- Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2013She is a great writer. I guarantee this will help you start and facilitate all types of support groups. It has been a huge benefit to me.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not really a book!
This is a pamphlet, not a book. 23 single pages of content and the rest is suggested reading and organisation details. The suggested reading is all about living with pain and terminal illness NOT about running groups! Also, all the organisations are American which is of no use to British readers. I will attempt to return this product because it is not so much about running a group but rather about the author and her struggles with Lupus disease.
