Couldn't put it down, amazingly funny and also insightful in terms of the life of a tennis player. Funny, glam, full of stories you were dying to read to the end. In my opinion, this was the best of Lauren Weisberger's books. I especially loved the part when she gives details from tennis matches, from tennis life, from the PR part of tennis. I never thought there is so much PR and marketing strategy when it comes to sports, I only thought about the performance part.

This was not a very exciting book but it was interesting as far as learning about the tennis circuit. The storyline itself was kind of boring because the characters were boring and one-dimensional. I couldn't wait to finish the book. The writing itself was not that smooth and maybe a better editor could've done more. I also felt there was a lot of repetition in order to make the book seem longer. It was not worth the $14 that I paid for my Kindle copy.

The writing flows nicely. The story moves at a good pace. The characters are vibrant. The setting (the professional tennis circuit) is fun and fresh for this genre. What's not to like?! Given the Devil Wears Prada connection, I expected Charlie to become a bit more insufferable before finding herself again, but I didn't mind that she remained at least somewhat likable (it was actually more realistic that way). This was my first Weisberger book, and it won't be my last!

The beginning and the end of The Singles Game are great! I can't lie and say that the middle bored me a bit, was slow, and took me a while to get through. As an athlete who never experienced this intrasport drama, I was interested in hearing about this from the perspective of someone my age (in Charlie Silver). I recommend buying this book if you are looking for a light, mind-numbing beach read!

I felt like I was there, training, playing, learning and growing as an athlete and a human...growing up and at the same time living such an exciting life, with all its struggles. So well written, that it improved my mood, workout and my outlook on life. Enjoyed this book tremendously!

I know you shouldn't call a chic lit gripping but I really felt it with this book. You want to just keep reading.
    The ending is amazing too.
Really enjoyed this book after being recommended it. I hope they make it a movie as it's brilliant. So enjoyable and real.
Not a typical girl meets boy happy ever after book either. I loved the girl empowerment and reality checks. An easy read but one well
Worth reading. Only took me a few days. My commute was all the better for it.

Some parts had me wanting to read more but mostly I found myself just wanting to finish it so it was done. The premise of the story was good, tennis was something different to other stories I had read previously however I felt like it jumped around a lot and got a bit lost at times. Overall it was ok.
