- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2019GOOD NIGHT, SANTA is a simple but elegant book that celebrates the Christmas season, perfect for bedtime. The illustrations are shown in one color with black and white with all the animals and people in silhouettes (as shown on the moon of the cover). The text is rhyming, showing a young girl wishing to say good night to Santa and saying good night to animals around her yard (owl, fox cubs, and cool cat) until the cat reminds her that Santa won't come until she is asleep. The book ends showing the cookies and note out for Santa after she has gone to bed.
What I loved: This is a really stunning board book- the illustrations are gorgeous, and the silhouette design allows children to place themselves into the story. The black contrast of the silhouettes makes this great even for infants who can enjoy the simple images and rhyming text. The font is clear and easy to read with a perfect text-to-image ratio, making it perfect for reading aloud. The book also is not religious, but celebrates Christmas in a fun way. This is a great book to read for bedtime with the good night phrasing and lovely, soft images. There is also a light-up cover, which is fun for kids to turn on and off (switch is on the back cover but it has a press button on the front) and enjoy the image of santa and his reindeer in front of the moon.
Final verdict: GOOD NIGHT, SANTA is a gorgeous and elegant holiday book, great for bedtime. Highly recommend for infants and toddlers to enjoy with their parents around the Christmas season. With stunning and simple images, rhyming text, and a light-up cover, this is a lovely way to celebrate the holiday.
Please note that I received a copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2020Ok book. Very bulky. Light feature is not that big of a deal.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2019This book only has 10 pages--not 12. And the 9th page is black. You can't see the child in bed at all. Not worth $12.99
- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2020Very misleading picture & description. Had to replace battery to even get it to work. Returned.
