The Book Is Fantastic, It’s Condition Was Not
The book itself, pictures, photography, and information is wonderful. The condition the book arrived in is FAR from “new”. Which is what it said when purchasing, that it was a new, not a used book. Pages were bent, the binding is tearing at the bottom and it was horribly packaged to be shipped. In a large box, along with another book I ordered, no packing material, and multiple types of taping on the outside that was still so horribly taped I’m not sure how the books even stayed in the box.

    I bought this for my nine-year-old. She was having trouble doing her 20 minutes of reading time per night. So I figured to get her the one thing she was interested in the most. Now all she does is sit down and read this book over and over again even with her friends. I think it's great to give a child something that they really love to learn about and this book provides that. Albeit with a few words that are probably out of her range but she works past them with our help and she learns how to read something that isn't dr. Seuss Style. So if you're apprehensive or on the fence about buying this book for a younger child it seemed to work out pretty good for me. That and all the pictures work through the book pretty darn well. Very happy with my purchase and I will definitely look for other books by this publisher and author.
