READ WHAT ACCLAIMED PHYSICIANS SAY ABOUT BUILDING YOUR AESTHETIC PRACTICE THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA…
"Social media is the great equalizer that brings marketing tools to independent physicians that previously only large groups, hospitals, and healthcare systems could afford. This book, which teaches practicing physicians how to use and master social media marketing techniques, is an important addition to our armamentarium. I recommend this book without reservation to all physicians who want to feel part of the 21st century. My only complaint is that, had it come out earlier in my career, I would have saved significant amounts of time and money."
Kenneth H. Cohn, MD, MBA, FACS CEO of HealthcareCollaboration.com and TheDoctorpreneur.com. Author of Better Communication for Better Care, Collaborate for Success!, The Business of Healthcare, and Getting It Done
“Have you ever wondered if you could or should be doing more to engage potential patients online? Building Your Aesthetic Practice Through Social Media provides a concise overview of the evolving role that social media plays in establishing and growing an aesthetic practice. Mr. Arndt's expertise is clearly evident as he explains how time-tested marketing strategies may be effectively employed across the range of ever-expanding social media platforms. I enthusiastically recommend this book to anyone interested in learning how to harness the power of social media and Web 2.0 to develop an aesthetic practice.”
James M. Pearson, MD, FACS Board Certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon Director, Pearson Facial Plastic Surgery, Beverly Hills, California
“Mr. Arndt's most recent book is a physician entrepreneur's roadmap to success. As Healthcare Practitioners who provide service to a media saavy public we are now obligated to increase the visibility of our unique skills or risk being left behind. The greatest benefit of all, is that excellent marketing is now affordable if we harness the power of the Internet correctly. I used Matt's 5 New Media strategies to increase my visibility and began implementing them immediately. I encourage other physicians seeking to expand their patient outreach to do the same.”
Moshe Lewis MD, MBA, MPH Chief, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehab, California Pacific Medical Center, St. Luke's Campus

- Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2012I have been a follower of Matthew Arndt for several years via many of his webinars about social media and medical amrketing. I have delved in myself for just under a year, but after reading Building Your Aesthetic Practice Through Social Media, I now feel I have a much better grasp and feel on what more I need to do to bring my practice to the next level. The book is informative but also full of useful practical pointers and tips that should be easy to implement for me and any practitioner who wants to and should be into this area.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2017Most useless book I have ever read. All "information" could have fit on one page. No actual tools or details are given. It is a thinly veiled advertisement for the author's company, disguised as a book. Missed the return window unfortunately, but I guess I have kindling for my next campfire.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2016Its good, useful tips. However, its only superficial stuff. Its a good book if you arent convinced get how important is social media. But if you already know it, dont buy this book. I expected a lot of more information.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2018Exceptionally basic introductory-level primer. Not nearly detailed enough.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2015This book is easily read and understood. Matthew Arndt, the author, made me realize just how important it is to maintain a social media presence as well as website foundation for my new Aesthetic business (opening in August). I am excited to try and put all these ideas together with the information I also glean from Dr. Charles Runels marketing strategies class I will be attending next month. I would have liked more information on doing the press releases. That was a great idea. Enjoyed the book, and will incorporate these strategies into my marketing adventure.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2020This was a true disappointment. The book discusses basic common knowledge for how to run a business but never provides specific or technical details needed to truly implement social media marketing through your aesthetic practice. A complete waste. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2012This book gives concise advise on how to improve your Social Media presence, the suggestions given are things that you can implement yourself right now. Some of the suggestions we are already using in our practice and others we will soon.
