- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2012Buy this book not only because of a recommendation from your course and/or teacher, but your need for a reference book on the subject. God speed. This book is a subject matter expert, in my opinion. It contains visual diagrams of human anatomy, photos people in accidents, and study photos of first responders providing the steps and skills needed for first aid, cpr and aed. What more do you need? It has very good balance between written text and diagrams. This book also has taken enourmous to provide the STEPS in prioritizing first aid, cpr and aed. Flow charts asking What IF questions, and paths to follow for various senarios. Nothing is ever straight forward, and this book prepares you to think that way. Wow, humm? The quizes at end of each reading provides as a strong learning tool for students. So, you cannot take this book lightly. The authors have made it a crusade in providing such information. Readers are to benefit from the knowledge, and victims you save, well ... God Willing, you will see the light!!! The use of color coded descriptive text also adds to the ease of learning. All of which are needed, because its contents are handled with utmost superior quality and attention. Should ah/Could ah/Do It - No!! Buy with the intension to read this, close to your heart!! Again, God Speed.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2020I always turn to Amazon.com to buy my daughter's required college textbooks. I LOVE to save money on things that I HAVE to buy. Thank you Amazon for saving me money while putting my daughter through college.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2011I'm giving it four stars because I already have extensive medical knowledge. Taking a certification course requires one to give
"textbook" answers and in this case, injured/ill people will not be textbook patients. I aced the course and some of the material in the book I found was misleading. It's not the wrong information, just different from what I would do. It was required for a course for my major, but eventually found that I didn't need it. It teaches basic CPR, wound treatments, poison, animal/insect/marine injures, etc. Lots of knowledge for someone looking to get basic treatment knowledge. I don't know if it can be used to study for the American Heart Associatons tests for CPR.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2017Using this book for my First Aid class was the best thing in the world! I love how it shows pictures and drills it into your head what you are required to do. I was the top student in my class simply because I had this book and read it everyday.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2013I received the item in an average amount of time. But it took them a few days too long to 'ship' it off. Once they had it arrived very quickly! The item was exactly what I thought it to be, and in great condition! Overall happy.
I had 'contacted the seller' via emails (2) and no response . That bothered me.
But I am very happy with the product. Thank you
