Nothing in here at all about cardiac tumors... I realize how rare they are but there is nothing in the Oncology Tarascon either. Otherwise it has everything you will ever need for cards.

As a NP working in Cardiology, I have purchased many pocket books, and cardiology books. Also, I have had many of the Tarascon pockets books (ii.e. Pharma) , and the content of this book is just a good as you would expect from Tarascon.
I has great concise information, that is well laid out. The only reason I deduct one star it that it is not especially durable, With less that one month of use I did have to tape in some of the pages, the glue on the spine did not seem to be very strong.
Worth the money.

Complete with great diagrams and illustrations, it's amazing what Tarascon managed to pack into this book. Highly recommend for any PA students in second year.

The book is not easy to read. It's full of words in a little space, which is not synonymous of being concise. Just at the first look I was able to find some mistakes, e.g. ticagrelor is not a thienopyridine; a whole paraghraph is missing: "compelling indications for antihypertensive drugs" (the heading is there but they forgot tu put the text in). Do not buy it.

Good content but cheap binding. After one day of use the cover of the book is almost half way off do to the glue not holding. I have many Tarascon books and this is the first that I have had an issue with. Hopefully it's just this book but for 20.00 I expected better quality/durability.

The Tarascon Cardiologica is an evidence based reference guide which does an excellent job of concisely covering all aspects of cardiovascular disease. It is well organized and is specifically helpful in directing practitioners in ordering appropriate diagnostic testing. As an NP in an academic setting, I have found this guide to be an essential part of my daily reference material. I recommend that you purchase one for yourself and carry it in your labcoat each and every day!

I bought this pocket ebook for the second time as I thought my first one had been stolen, but after all I found it in the back of a shelve :P Anyway, very good pocket book - it offers the sinthetic, objective information one needs while working in the wards and even in the ER. As an internist on the making, I need good pocket books to clear some doubts here and there during my residency. the Tarascon pocket collection is very good - I have several (oncology, neurology and internal medicine reviews) and they're tops :) I highly recommend *
they're the adequate size to bring along, fit the pocket :)
