- Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2019this pocket size pronunciation guide was just what I needed, I read the Bible a lot and this guide is a huge help
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2019Great aid for reading during Sunday School and Bible study...A must have for serious students of the Word.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2024It does not have Eutychus, nor Trogyllium, both names occur in Chapter 20 of Acts KJV; v. 9 and v. 15 respectively. If only the NIV is used it should be clearly stated on the front of the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2023Small and easy to understand the pronunciation
- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2023It is missing lots of hard-to-pronounce names, and that's just in Genesis. It was not really very helpful.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2022A lot of words omitted and not made very well pages coming loose after little use
- Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2020A good book to have in kids Sunday School class for those hard-to-pronounce names.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2022Very minimal number of names in book. Pronunciations are a minimum also. Not worth the money I paid.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for helping lectors.
I bought this to accompany another book of biblical pronunciations that has been in my possession for years. This was in order to help a pair of nuns in the area, who were required to learn and speak the English language as they could be posted anywhere in the world. I also helped them out with the often difficult words and names that would occur in scripture readings when they would be required to do readings at Mass. Of the two books out there on the subject, the nuns preferred this version, although it would be really helpful if a British English version of such a book could be made available.
