My son is 3 and wasn't ready for preschool yet so I got him this book so we could work together at home. It was definitely worth it! Now, when his big sister comes home from school with homework, he'll run to get this book so he can do his 'homework' too. When he first started the activities in the book, he was unsure but after some encouragement and a few pages, I could already see his confidence blossoming as he colored in pictures, started identifying patterns, doing dot-to-dots, and, the big discovery for him, that he's very good at mazes. He loves the sticker rewards and enjoys choosing the sticker for each activity he completes. He's so proud when he finishes an activity and I'm so happy that the activities are fun, challenging enough that he has to try, but not so difficult as to be frustrating and disheartening. We're very happy with this book.
