Four Cups Participant's Guide: God’s Timeless Promises for a Life of Fulfillment Paperback – April 1, 2015

4.7 out of 5 stars 262 ratings

The God of the universe has made you some big promises. He made them first in the Old Testament, and they remain at the core of his heart and have never changed. They’re the key to your fulfillment and to his plans for you, both in this life and the life to come. God wants to rescue you from bondage. And he wants you to be a part of a family that is making a difference. This workbook, a companion to the Four Cups DVD Experience, invites you on an eight-week journey toward transformation.

In the ancient celebration of Passover, we find a picture of God’s heart for us in the four cups of wine, representing each of the core promises. Church of the Highlands pastor and
New York Times bestselling author Chris Hodges reveals that, no matter where we are on our spiritual journey, these four cups of promise provide a simple, powerful, unforgettable way of reaching our potential and growing closer to God.

Your thirst for more will finally be quenched―and you’ll experience a wellspring of joy, hope, and purpose.

Many of us have dreams inside us of things we want to do or to be that can sometimes, even often, feel beyond our grasp, or which simply nevee materialize because we fail to take the steps necessary to make them a reality. In "The Four Cups," Chris gives us clear understanding of what it takes to live a truly fulfilling life and lays out practical steps any person can take to begin living a more satisfying life right now. I know he's enabled me to see some important changes I can make. I can't wait to put those ideas into action!

Chris book is a reminder of the covernants that God has given us. most of us don't understand the term covernant; Chris has seen this and has explained in easy to understand language what a covernant is and what it means to us Chris shows is the 4 main covernants of God in the Old Testament were then repeated for us in the New Testament with Jesus. These covernants had to be repeated but with a few changes; for now Jesus the Messiah had arrived and we now had the Holy Spirit in our hearts. understanding these covernants that have been given deeper knowledge of who God is and what He wants for you as well as a stronger relationship. read this book and see the plans God has for you.

We all ask questions about purpose, whether this is a new concept for you as a believer or one that needs to be dusted off, Chris speaks from a place of honesty nested in the Word of God. He lays out the steps towards living your full potential all the while pointing to the source Jesus Christ.

This book honors God and will equip you. I know I will have to Reread this book a few times - I want it's truth to stick. I also love that he communicates in a way that even those who have never been exposed to the Bible will be able to participate and follow along.

Wonderful book that every Christian should read, especially Pastors. This book explains what the writers of the New Testament knew about Jewish Passover feast and it's symbolism. It was the Jewish Passover Celebration that Jesus and his disciples were Celebrating. Each cup of wine drank at the Seder meal had specific significance, first for the New and also we who are grafted in and called Christians.

Chris Hodges has brought light & clarity. Personally, I believe deliverance comes either through God’s sovereign act or fellow disciples ordering the enemy’s agents off after the work of dismantling is done. They won’t automatically leave.
