    Good health in a glass is what these 175 original juicing recipes are all about. These 175 juicing recipes come with six health icons to mix and match from and it's up to you to choose which three of these health benefit icons satisfy your diet goals.

    The most noticeable trait of this wonderfully designed juicing book is how thought filled and professionally written the juicing content information is. The juicing diet starts by introducing you to clear and easy-to-understand basics and continues on with an informative diet tour of natural ingredients and healthy recipes, including and in-depth intro to the world of quality juicers.

    The educational experience you'll receive about juicers is worth far more than the price of the "gem of a diet book." If you are thinking like I did, that all juicers are created equal...think again!

    There are marvelous tips for you about how to choose the right kind of juicer based on your needs and personal references. Basically, there are three types of juicers reviewed in this book; centrifugal, masticating and triturating.

    Not to worry, with great ease this book explains all you need to know about the six most popular kinds of juicers. It also explains what types of food are recommended for each type of juicer. The "pros and cons" of each juicer was a very helpful decision maker for myself. I'm opting for the popular cold press style juicer (Masticating) because it provides great taste by preserving natural vitamins, trace minerals and nutrients.

    The section on supplements shows you how to utilize 18 healthy supplements to serve your specific needs along with your juicing recipes. The richness of the spice section is just as fascinating with its versatile choices of spices that promise to liven up all of your juice recipes!

    The Juicing Diet Book can also be used for strengthening your immune system, cleansing, detox or for just the simple enjoyment of a great tasting juice. And please...don't forget the 30 day weight loss plan that's a pleasure diet, anyone would chose to use. I give this book 5-stars because it excels with excellent information and professional presentation.

    For anyone who wishes to begin a healthy regimen in their life, The Juicing Diet, published by Sonoma Press, is a veritable must-have for your resource library. A quick read and simple to understand, this book touches on several key factors regarding juicing, including the why’s and how’s of juicing, types of juicers on the market, and a host of ingredients enlightening the reader on their benefits as well as nutritional guidelines. The Juicing Diet imparts to us the advantages of juicing for a healthy lifestyle through cleansing, detoxing, disease prevention, beauty, anti-aging, and weight loss. With 175 recipes included and tips on getting started, this is an outstanding recipe book of sorts for the juicing beginner. I can’t wait to get started myself!

    "The Juicing Diet" was an eye-opener. I didn't know anything about juicing but I'd heard a lot and was blown away by the information in this book. The intimidation I once had is gone. The Sonoma Press book gave great tips for easy juicing, 175 recipes, and a list of the 70 best fruits/vegetables to use (how to prep, what fruits/herbs to use to sweeten/add spice, how to store). There was also a section on different types of juicers, how to use/where to buy them, and which ones are best for which produce. It gave a breakdown of all the health benefits, how you can juice to detox, help improve your skin, and the best part for me: a 30-Day weight loss plan. Enlightening book!

    My review on The Juicing Diet Book By Sonoma Press

    Reading this book has really given me a new perspective on food and health. There were so many things I had not known before reading this book!!
    It was very easy to read and understand and talking about the different kinds of juicers and what each one is good for was valuable information for me as I have always found that to be a very confusing process!
    I have juiced here and there but after reading this I am very inspired to juice everyday ,although I love sugar and the taste of some of those vegies juiced had turned me off from juicing but as wonderfully explained in this book ,using some fruits can cover the taste of some of those less desirable tasting vegies.
    Another thing I really loved about this book ,was how clearly the benefits of each vegetable, herb, fruit was explained! And what each one affected!
    There were some very valuable tips as well, ie: balling up a vegetable is a good way to juice!
    I have suffered for many years with eczema and now insomnia and there were some fantastic recommendations on how to handle them! Cannot wait!!
    One of the best things about this book, was all the amazing recipes!! I cannot wait to try those as well!!

    The Juicing Diet by Sonoma Press is an excellent entry point into the world of juice diets. I know a lot of people are skeptical of new things, but natural juicing of vegetables and fruits provide you with so many essential nutrients and vitamins that not only help you lose weight, but also help prevent illnesses and disease. Juicing does wonders for your skin as well.

    As a regular juicer, I'm always looking for a great juicing book that provides new, fresh recipes I can incorporate into my daily life while also not having my hand held through the process. The Juicing Diet does a fantastic job doing both of these things. Whether you're a newbie to the juicing scene or a vet like myself, the information provided is straight forward and easy to grasp. It's also chock full of some surprisingly good recipes such as Royal-Red Raspberry Juice and Sweet Lemon Lavender Juice. These two recipes are exceptionally well flavored and provide you with great antioxidants and vitamins that will help you get your day started right!
