    As a student in ECE, this book might seem old or outdated at first glace but it's definitely not. This has become my best resource when observing a child with Sensory Integration issues.     A must-have for professionals, parents, caregivers, and anyone seeking basic yet thorough understanding of A. Jean Ayers' Sensory Integration theory and treatment approach. The revision includes more current information affirming Ayres' groundbreaking original theories and strategies to treat what Ayres identified as "sensory integration dysfunction". Ayres' theories and treatment approaches have withstood tests of time, and gained credibility in the face of early naysayers who criticised her work as 'vodoo-ish' (I was a practitioner at the time that her theories and approaches were first introduced into the field of occupational therapy).
