You'll find hundreds of recreation sites, fishing spots, and hunting areas as well as a myriad of other things to do. The Landscape Maps show all drivable Utah roads, classed by surface and purpose, and thousands of campgrounds along with other destinations. We purchased this book last October to have handy on some off road adventures in Utah and it was wonderful to have with us. Ranking it 2/5 because I am just now noticing that are 9 missing pages from the recreation section of the Utah Atlas. We're going to Moab & Canyonlands in May and found out the pages were missing when I went to look at some of the roads in more detail. We're too late to return or exchange it through the app and was trying to find a way to get in contact with Benchmark Maps. So, be sure to flip through *all* of the pages to ensure you have a complete Atlas. Update: The customer service support was fast, responsive and very helpful! If you have binding errors with your book - contact them via their website. Getting a new Utah Atlas shipped to me this week.

    As a precautionary measure, I purchased this atlas before embarking on a trip to Utah. Reason being, I planned on visiting a number of out-of-the-way areas where cell coverage would be nonexistent. So, I packed the atlas in the bottom of my suitcase and brought it along, not expecting to use it. Boy, was I wrong! I used it multiple times a day to plan my travels, for my phone’s coverage was weak or non-existent. This book is very large, but in a good way, for that makes it super easy to see and read. Would totally recommend this for anyone traveling around Utah.

    We enjoy the fidelity of this atlas series. Much of Utah is not visible from the interstates. If you get off the beaten path, unfortunately, your phone will be without a signal to download maps, and often GPS devices do not have the fidelity needed to explore.

    We keep this map in our 4x4 vehicle for emergencies and use it when planning camping trips. Each section has highlights of local attractions, often not found listed elsewhere. The technical maps include a fidelity of forest service roads and paths most cars would struggle to navigate.

    We discovered several paths between Nevada and Utah we did not know existed and exploring them leads to the breathtaking backcountry.

    I would recommend it to anyone who...
    - Owns an RV / Travel Trailer and is wanting to find amazing Bureau of Land Management spots.
    - Anyone with a 4x4 looking for new challenges
    - Bugout Path Planning folks
    - Any map lovers seeking a fidelity and accuracy rarely found in the modern landscape of atlases

    I have used DeLorme atlases for years and found them very handy for trip planning and small-scale navigation. I ordered this one because it has a Lat/Long grid on the map margins for help with GPS plotting. Turns out the maps are at a larger scale and have greater detail than the DeLorme atlas.

    Great for Utah road trips so you can see all the scenic byways and highways. Even shows dirt roads and tells you where you need 4 WD and where not. Pages are much bigger scale than any state map or national atlas so it makes it easier to plan trips. (I know I use Google maps for that, too, but sometimes you want to see your routes on a bigger scale.)

    This Atlas shows the state quite well, but some details are not there as I was hoping for a more detailed description of rural roads, trails, for recreation purposes. The type is quite small for reading. I will have to visit DNR or other sources to get a better detailed map of the areas I want to hunt, fish, trailside, etc.
